Just move on to DA3 and we can HOPE its going to be good. This year is full of rpgs anyways, I don't need a Bioware game to keep me alive. There's witcher 2, Skyrim, ME3 to look forward. DA2 was a good early in year filler game anyways.

Clearly you'd know best, I mean delaying a game to polish it is just silly, just be like bioware, and release after what? 18 months? And you get this wonderful product. The nerve of them pushing the date back a few weeks to iron out bugs.

Adding the 3 missing years in DA2 would work as an expansion. We were told 10 years, and only got 7 after all.

i want to see an awakenings style expansion that allows you to travel to par vollen to look further into the qunari invasion. Maybe place it in the 3 years after you beat the arishok.

Here's an idea.
What if on the expansion or next installment of Dragon Age you get to choose between playing Hawke or the Warden?
If you play Hawke you either become allies or enemies with the Warden and vice-versa or choice between 3 original races and a Qunari with different background stories. Plus, by the end of the game a good cliff-hanger would be a Qunari invasion setting the mood for the next game. Sten and the Arishok implied as much about the Qunari's return on DAO and DA2.
The Warden character we created would also be fully voiced. Plus lots more dialogue options, that's the only gripe I have with DA2. Character interaction is pretty sparse as compared to DOA. On that note, characters in DOA are more fleshed out than the characters in DOA with the exemption of Varic.
It would be nice also if they can incorporate spears and other type of weapons into the gameplay and more choices of armor. I'm mildly irritated with the inventory system.
I guess I like the old school system better.

They've no reason to pump out DLC in place of an expansion. I really want the story to be continued. AND I WANT MORE MERRILL!

If they do an expansion that continues the story like Awakening, then I say go for it, but if its just to fill in the ten years in Hawke's life at Kirkwall, screw it.

Oh damn! epiphany!
I'd bet a precious piece of my body that they will make the expansion out of the last 3 years we were told would be in the game or something similar. I just realized that we only had 7 years when you mentioned that

Looking at the game files, there's some stuff waiting to be finished/activated already on the game disc. Sounds like EA to sell a game with prepackaged DLC which you have to pay to activate. Haha!

Or, we'll get three separate DLCs that take up a year each.

make an expansion already..please. There must be a bloody expansion, just like awakening something more sinister and wicked.. with terrible power acquisition and ruling all of Thedas. But I digress.. probably it won't happen.

The three missing years does sound suspicious, wouldn't be surprised if we did get an expansion to fill in the three years.Definitely prefer an Expansion to a DLC per year. Not sure which is more likely though
BTW: Got a group going for dragon age 2 expansion, join if you want

my warden didn't care about actually being a warden or saving the world from the blight and instead just wanted to follow morrigan around, so i know my Hawke wouldn't get along

that said, it'd be fun to play as my warden and kill hawke

or even better, DA3 you get to play as the darkspawn and wipe out all the rubes in Ferelden and Kirkwall

down with the anti-blight bias

That would be sweet. The killing hawke and wiping out kirkwall part. I'd pay $5 to be able to kill hawke 1,001 different ways.

Lol... were you even thinking when you wrote that?

A dev team thats willing to delay their game at the cost of money and labor is a dev team that deserves respect.

As far as I'm concerned the Witcher team is full of some of the most stand up game devs out there. Time after time they put the players first. Like that ****ton of stuff that came with and was perfected by the extended edition being free to everyone who already bought the game. You KNOW EA and bioware wouldn't do that.

Don't understand why so many people dislike Hawke. You pretty much choose his/her personality

:huh:ok......Don't see where or why your getting the "retard". what makes Hawke "retarded" and the Warden "non-retarded"?

Anyway IMO  voicing the protagonist is great. It allows the character to emit some level or personality and also makes the protagonists interactions with other characters far more interesting and believable

I would want something that extends the end of the game and gives it an actual... uh... ending.
