Will the graphics be more customizable in the full game?

I was wondering if the game would have more options regarding the grapical settings (shadows, plants, etc) than in the demo. Because this blanket graphics setting thing has kind of got me down :(

Pretty sure what you saw is what it is. Just we're able to change was was not disabled for us this time around. It is too bad that the DX11 options are not more specific. Why, do you have DX9 only? If you have DX10, you should be good for 90 percent of the goodies. The other 10 percent, you'll forget about.

Probably because the game also ships to consoles that have less graphical options to tweak than the PC .. and they wanted to streamline the interface? But that just a guess ...

If it's like origins where they make a distinction between graphics detail and texture detail; that's fine by me. At least it's not as bad as Crysis 2 where you have three graphics options that don't even describe the graphic quality. (What the hell does the quality setting 'gamer' mean?)

First, I have to agree with you on Crysis 2. Gamer, Enthusiast, Hardcore? What the hell?! I had to google the damn settings just to make sure I understood what the order was...I mean what kind of arbitrary BS is this? Least they could do is make it a drop down menu to show us the order, or better yet, go back to Low, Medium, High...

But anyways...DA 2. I'm fairly certain that the graphics options will remain as they are shown in the demo. I've played almost all of the Bioware games and they all have basically the same graphics options so I really wouldn't expect DA2 to be much different. That said, I do believe I heard mention of a DX11 menu for disabling specific DX11 features, if you're using a DX11 card, but I could be wrong about that.

There will surely be more options in some .ini file.

That's what I thought as well.
