Stick to the EA site and you are SURE to get it.If you can buy from them directly believe me this wont happen.

The retailers tried playing the game and realized they were selling a new form of viral infection that makes all who play the game into mindless zombies

Yeah like that would stop them from selling. <_<

I think this problem is beginning to get too wide spread for it to be JUST the retailers fault, especially when quite a few of the people getting their preorders cancelled, ordered them way back in December or earlier.

But, it's not like EA is going to admit any fault. It's Square Enix all over again, ugh.

zahra bummer you dont have game stores in your country my you have sympathy's

Icinix for once our bull**** laws/ place in the world works in our favor Aus is counted as europe by the Gaming god's and the copyright laws make sure that our gaming stores can only sell PAL version of games (even though PS3 is region free the game's sold here still have the pal logo)

unless something goes crap to in the UK (english of pal for aus version) we are sweet

They should make the DLC free with every original game purchase....assuming the person registers the game with EA.
Come on EA/BIOWARE thats a good way to increase membership!

Giggles

We do have game stores. I don't live in the jungle or something like that. We don't have "Game Stop".

Email I received from Play-Asia just now. [Sorry to place this here, I think its relevant to the thread topic]

Dear ******

Thank you for contacting Play-Asia.com.

We are sorry that the US version of Signature Edition is only available for
some major sellers in US. We cannot get any copy of the US version of
Signature Edition available for sale.

For the Asian version Signature Edition, we are expecting to receive a
small number of copy. We haven't accept pre-order now. We are sorry that
you have to keep checking from our website for the availability of the
Asian version Signature Edition. There is no priority given to any customer
to order the Asian version Signature Edition.

For your current order, would you like to cancel the order or change to the
normal version of the game?

If you have any further questions, please do not hesitate to ask.

Best regards,

Kasel
Play-Asia.com

Wait, what? Theres a US version and an Asian version? And the US version is only available in US?

Play-Asia has always been reliable, so I don't see them as two-bit scammers. This explanation is really weird though.

:(

I got a similar e-mail as well (well, actually, my sister who helped me with the pre-order got it). I'm just so livid that they could not tell us about this cancelation earlier, then I could have searched for other options. Also, in my e-mail, they had the nerve to say "we can't send you the signature edition, but we can sell you the NORMAL edition, for the SAME PRICE! Mwahahahah!" Okay, some embelishment there, but the essential message is still intact.

Oh well, the truth is that I didn't have much other options. I had to choice to running all over Singapore in order to search all their listed "suppliers" of the limited edition, which I did, and NONE of them had any left. And I had the choice of relying on a more expensive import option, which I did as well!

Whether it's Play-Asia or EA, someone is going to pay.

Amazon keeps track of what they *have*.
So probably no mishaps with them.

The Mwahahhahaha was implied. You read their message correctly.

There is no point ordering it off the net at the same freaking price when I can get the normal one cheaper. Its like
"Hello, would you like to give us extra money for no good reason?" >:[

EA NEEDS TO MAKE MONEY ON THAT DLC.
Also to save costs with manufacturing.Do not offer it everywhere.Just where it counts the most.

SAME PRICE? <_<
Don't they check their own site?
They sell their normal edition $15 less than the Sig Ed.

*sigh* ...

If this doesn't get sorted out, I'll probably do as Browny did. Downgrade to Regular Ed.
But I won't be buying from Play Asia. <_<

I've ordered the Signature Edition from Amazon.co.uk for shipment to me here in Switzerland.

All is ok. I even received a confirmation email when I changed my delivery method from standard to express on 26 February.

Fingers crossed I haven't jinxed it now.

I might be wrong. But maybe the retailers don't have enough money to cover the pre-orders so they are cancelling the sig. ed.

Cancel your preorder? Then get the normal edition?
Is that right Browny?

Considering the my CEs of both Origins and ME2 were delayed (by weeks), I'm not going to breathe easily until I hold the sig edition in my hands.

Well, at least I managed to get the limited edition of NFSHP (another EA game) from this retailer just fine, so I guess there is some hope.

Has anyone heard of digital versions being canceled? I got mine from Impulse (since steam never got the Signature edition for some stupid reason) and pre-loading is starting later today...so I guess I am safe.
