I doubt it will be the "arrival" of the Reapers that should be kept for ME3. It would be strange for people who dont buy DLC to start ME3 and all the Reapers are attacking.
They would want to know why and how. I doubt it would be included in DLC. The invasion most lkely has something to do with the Batarians, since it's in Batarian space.

^That's the point of the DLC bridging.
People will be confused too in ME3 if they didn't play LotSB and Liara all of the sudden SB and Shepard knows that.
It's for the best so that ME3 hits the fan from the start and no need for something like Lazarus Project.

"The arrival has begun" and "An invasion has commenced" mean almost exactly the same thing in this context, really. I'm thinking this is the Reapers, after all. Has to be.

Maybe the invasion starts in the DLC, and it ends on a cliffhanger. Then ME3 starts in medias res during the initial battle. Kind of like how the Clone Wars cartoon (the first one) showed the beginning of the Battle of Coruscant and Star Wars Ep. III picked up in the middle.

Yeah, looks like Bioware is going all-out with the bridging DLC... just like they said eh
If this DOES have anything to do with the Reaper 'invasion', then it's a MUST BUY for any ME fan out there.

I want ME3 to start with the Reapers already in the Galaxy so the action starts right away. If you didn't get the DLC too bad for you.

Lair of the Shadow Broker is supposed to be played after the suicide mission, so they're just continuing the main story arc with this one I guess.
