I just chatted with a nice Indian fellow on Amazon...he indicated I should not be worried about the "shipping soon" update on my order (I have release day delivery). He said:

"The carrier is not yet assigned to your package.
It's been shipped to the carrier from our fulfillment center.
The tracking will be updated soon with the assigned carrier."

SO....hope he is right.

Mine shipped a couple hours ago, but sadly I didn't pick release day drop-off. Didn't want to spend th extra whatever $ it was, plusI need the "up to 10 business days" to study for exams.

Cause we all know that when it comes to priorities, DA2 > school

Mine said Shipping Soon since about 6 AM this morning, but I just got a confirmation e-mail from Amazon that it shipped.

Not only that, but the original March 10th delivery estimate has been moved to March 8th .. very happy about that!

I'm leaving to go pick up my PC SE copy at Gamestop in about 15-20 minutes.  Well, that is i need to be there at 10pm and finalize payment, then I'll go get something to eat, then head back at midnight to pick it up.

Release day shipping was one dollar for me

And no, mine has not shipped. I'm not worried, though.

Exactly the same here, except that it's still March 7, at least for 2 more hours.

I'm still not getting my hopes up. We only have one UPS truck route in my area, so unless the game can get from Harrisburg, Pennsylvania to western New Jersey in 12 hours, I'll be getting it on the 9th. Which is still better than the 10th.

I got the shipped confirmation e-mail early this morning about the time I left for work. Weirdly, the tracking number doesn't work on UPS' site. However, they've never let me down before so I'm reasonably confident I'll have my SE waiting for me when I get home from work.

My copy apparently left Philadelphia a couple of hours ago. So it's only 4 hours or so away! (Assuming UPS doesn't have a lot of deliveries between them and my house). Tracking says it should arrive "by 4:30pm", but I certainly hope it'll be earlier than that or my day off work will have been for nothing.
