Just called Gamestop, SE is there all shiny and waiting to be picked up. I almost fainted on the phone when I heard this news.

Mine has been setting in my local gamestop for 2 days now along with my CE start guide.
The manager already set a copy of the game with my guide to the side and waiting for me behind the counter.
I was the only person in the area to preorder a CE start guide and they only got 2.  Thats why my DA2 materials are ready and waiting. All i have to do is show up monday night for the midnight release and be handed my stuff.

No, but I have Amazon's release date delivery, so I'm still optimistic. (Really, as long as I have the game in hand by Thursday evening, I'm good. Not much time for gaming until then!)

My copy from ebgames.com (*cough*Gamestop) is listed as 'Backordered'. I placed my pre-order on October 15th. That's right, placed less than 24 hours after the Signature Edition first became available. And now it's backordered... I damn well better get it on release day like they promised. I plan to call them up tomorrow and raise some hell.

Amazon.ca tells me that it won't be shipping until the 11th, and the customer support response I got said that EA was to blame for it. It won't arrive til the 15th at best :[

i agree lol happens with every game i get on steam.  this one though, i wanted the Box

Haven't gotten an email yet, but since everyone who preordered from EA seems to be getting them now, I'm expecting one in the next day since I preordered like a week before the SE deal ended.

Hey for those backordered I called my local gamestop and they figured that it saidd backordered because they don't technically have it in the store yet. And since it ships from the store and the store hasn't gotten them yet, it says out of stock, thus backordered. They said that it should still get to us who have the "backordered" problem

Ordered from Amazon and got "Release date delivery" for free. Will ship out by Monday and I will have it by the 8th.

I have my preorder with EB so i won't be getting it early or anything. Best bet that I'll be banging down their door at 10 am on the 8th though

At this date I think the only thing you'll get from a pre-order is a sword and shield.  Quite a few of us pre-ordered the Signature Edition, which includes quite a bit more, back in January or earlier.  Whether two items is worth it at this point is up to you.
