class? Or profession? No sense in adding new classes since they'll seem like poor spin-offs of the 3 core classes.
If bioware could add a new class to Dragon age 2, what would it be?

Basically, it works like this. Each class has a job to do. There are several jobs that need doing:
Single Target DPS, AOE DPS, Aggro Management, AOE Control.
Rogue does Single Target DPS very well, and also has a bit of AOE Control.
Mages do AOE Control and AOE DPS very well, and have a little Single Target DPS mixed in.
Warriors do Aggro Management very well, and have a few tricks for both DPS types.
Pretty much every role is already covered. Any other "class" should simply be folded into one of the main three, depending on function. For example, I would put the Monk/Unarmed fighter as a specialization of Rogue. DPS and stuns seems like the Monk way, and Rogues alreay do that.

archer.
since archer in dao seemed to cross the warrior/rogue spectrum, and its not necessarily appropriate to only have rogues have bow skills, i think the fighting style deserves a sepearate and distinct class taht takes aspects of the rogue and warrior class and can be developed primarily around the use of ranged weapons bows and crossbows but based on the skills taken, can be built as a more "finesse" roguesque type or a heavy warrior type archer able to equip heavy armors but less obvious escape abilities.

We need something for the medium/heavy armors, Like a warlock? Wearing medium armor and doing so-so melee while blasting with dark magic at range.

I am kind of wondering what ever is keeping Bioware from adding a new class. I mean the threadtitle kind of makes it sound like they can't for some reason.
I am sure if they would want, they had done so. Its their game.
Already in game. That class is called Rogue and if you melee he will teleport.

either: they remove the creation line in mage and the cleric becomes a pure class
dragoon. this would also come with new weapons in DAO - the lance/spear. this class is a mixture of medium range damage dealing with one line to summon a dragon of course (some fighters, some healers, some mages archetypes etc). some strong jump AOE attacks, some magical abilities also. ALOT of buffs, like ALOOOOOT.

Enchanter, alchemist or something like that, someone who is unable to cast spells like a mage but uses lyrium to get deadly magic-like tricks out of ordinary objects and weapons.

In the idea of having a mix of spell and fights, two directions, Druid and Vampire. Both morph oriented with spells, physical attacks, companion, summoning. Stamina would be used for their spells.
The druid is more classical so I don't develop, for vampire some idea would be:
The druid is more classical so I don't develop, for vampire some idea would be:
- Morphs: Vampire, Human, Giant Bat, Cloud
- Morphs would be rather fast to switch and not use stamina.
- Companions: Cat, Swarm of bats, Human pet, Pack of rats, Last charmed enemy.
- Key talents: teleport attacks, blood draining, stamina/mana draining, cloud area paralyze sustained by the character/morph
- Key spells: Short teleport, hypnothise, blood link, stamina link, mana link, invisibility, charm.

DAO mages. DA2's mages look like their tactical options are fairly limited compared to DAO mages, so I'd add DAO mages to DA2.
Plus, DAO mages didn't do all that silly flailing about.

The only class I can think up that is thematically different enough to warrant an own class while keeping with DA lore is an Engineer/Alchemist class with gmbs, poisons, traps, potions and very primitive firearms.
