One there is a reason why I pre-ordered online because of my work hours I do not have time to go to a store and I don't like digital copy of things.  And secondly you don't know me, and secondly you could have kept that last comment to yourself because that's your opinion if you think I'm obsessed just scroll pass.

Also this was meant to be a fun thread but wow people really taking this too seriously.  Now I know why I don't post on any forums.

I just received shipping info on the game from the EA Store. They just created a label, but UPS doesn't have it yet.

Still, at least I know I am getting it. It just doesn't say if it is the Signature Edition, I ordered December 17 too.

I called my local EB Games store and they apparently have no idea when their shipment is coming in. I will stalk these forums some more and continue to get EVERYTHING done so I will have an absolutely free weekend to play DA2 when I do get it.

Well if the local Gamestop manager somehow sold or lost my copy prior to the midnight release,well he knows he better not unlock the doors. That and he better leave town, as my copy and strat guide have been set aside and waiting for me.

the last time i preordered anything from amazon it was a harry potter book, and that arrived a couple days before release. but as i'm checking my account with them now and it says they haven't shipped yet... i'm thinking i may file my taxes and look at my refund to feel better about running to best buy and buying a second copy.

On the EA store account it tells me what copy I have but the e-mail doesn't say your right

I'll receive my copy at release day. The American one. Unluckily for me, there seems to be an online "security" measure that'll prevent me from playing my legally purchased game until the EU release which is 3 days later.

Yay for being able to hold the game in my hands and not being allowed to play it.

Shrug and move on with my life for a few more days til it arrives. I'm kind of expecting it at this point (if my pre-order doesn't get cancelled first), but it'll still be a little disappointing. Especially since UK/Western Europe are meant to be getting it on the 11th as is.

Now to the question of the thread: Probably slap the Best Buy employee then after I get out of doing my time buy the game at half price by then.


Seriously, use that extra time to finish up playthroughs of the first game, expansion, dlc's. I've been playing it a lot to try to finish up some of them lately.

I am off next week, because of holiday so being able to play from next friday would be a ideal thing, since most of the time i can only play handheld games in my dorm.

So if i will not get DA2 on release date, i will probaly be pissed then in the evening probaly be oke and watch some movie.
