What about Qunari women? I saw a concept art from the races and there is a Qunari woman too not just man. They're appears in Dragon Age 2?
Sorry for bad English.
i too was wondering this, would have been cool to recruit a Tal'Vashoth Female as a party member
'looks at Bioware'
DLC please?
I agree. But remember from DAO, Sten says that women are either priests or artisans (or maybe shopkeepers, I can't remember...) and so he is confused as to why a female Grey Warden can even exist. But, since the Tal'Vashoth live outside the Qun, maybe it would be possible to have a female who wanted to fight.....great idea!
No Female Dwarves or Qunari... I was sad... same with the lack of Genlock =(

Seriously, what's up with showing us concept art for Qunari & Dwarven woman and then NEVER SHOWING THEM IN GAME. That was just...weird...

elves have their own unique look apart from the pointy ears, buuuuuut dwarves are kind of real, o-o
also DA: 3 (or DA: 2 dlc) hope we can get a serabas as a companion, id really like to learn more about why there is such an incredible fear of them aavarad said they get their power from demons and chaos, but i kind of want to know why they are so certian that they cant control themselves, are qunari more susceptible to becoming an abomination? is it just simple prejudice? are they stronger mages than humans or elves just with less training?

not all kossif are born with horns the ones that arent are usually ambassadors of the qunari people as well the term qunari, means followers of the qun, therefore sten may not have been kossif, but a human kossif hybrid, which would explain the no horns and different skin tone, but there were others, who cut off their horns,
but the real explanation, is that they wanted horns, but couldnt get them right so they just made some lore about how some of the kossif dont get horns for some reason since they said it after the art came out, instead of sten mentioning that somtime in the game
also is it weird that the arishok is exactly what i pictured when i was thinking of the qunari leader?

Not at all. The Qunari leader had to have massive horns and some badass armor.

It's probably not because they're more succeptable than human or elven mages, but that a major part of the Qun is keeping one's self. A mage can lose his or her self by being possessed by a demon. A loyal Qunari mage is both honoured and pitied for this fight for his or her self that he/she puts up with every day.
Makes more sense that Sten was just born without horns, really.
The Arishok is the most awesome character I have ever encountered in a game. Period. I want to see more of the Qunari in the future, and learn more about them and their way of thinking.

oh and one more thing everyone is talking about how sten didnt have any horns, like the qunari did in DA 2

I really appreciate the new Qunari looks. Shame that Sten hasn't looked like that in DA:O. Hopefully modders will change that. Anyways - kudos for the new Qunari!
I am hoping for the reverse. "Bronze-skinned giants" was enough for me.

I'm surpised they went with the whole 'some Kossith don't get horns' lark when they could have just said that Sten and the other Qunari encountered in DA:O were kossith-human hybrids. Presumably such pairings occasionally happen in Qunari territories and possibly some happened during their war of conquest.
So it's not as daft as it sounds, elves and humans produce 'elven blooded humans', so hybrids (if human children from elves can be called hybrids) are possible in at least one cross species pairing already so there's no reason why a kossith-human child would not have features more inclined toward standard humans, as in DA:O, if not quite as favouring human features as the 'half-elfs'.
This path also allows Bioware to keep the old 'Bronze-skinned, purple eyes glowing with inner fire giants' alongside their new fancy-dan, pale, behorned giants.

Honestly? Let's just say it as it is: DA2 is the sequel which was released a few years after DAO. Everything got redesigned. So now Qunari have horns and creepy eyes and the Elves look a touch feline... I love it!
I don't need some kind of explaination for it. In DAO they came up with specific races and creatures and in DA2 they explored the possibilities. I think the Qunari and the Elves look great! Actually I like that the Elves got their own look, that makes them stand out better other than just the height and ears. The Qunari are perfect!! Sten wasn't scary, The Arishock is! GREAT JOB!!!
However it would make total sense that the Arishock would send a bunch of Human-Kossith hybrids as the Beresaad... I mean they have to infiltrate to find the answer, it would be beneficial to not stand out too much. If you take Sten to the Tower of Magi Quest in DAO you'll see that all his buddies don't have any horns either...
