I would really like to see a Qunari with me I loved having Sten in my team I was sad that I didn't get one at least have a Tal'vashoth join the party i draw a concept from the original art work I'll put it up when I have more time

I can't help to believe that there would be a female Tal Vashoth practicing to be a Saarberas (being a mage) qunari companion next DLC !! I just can't help it ><

If the rumor is true, I'd say it's the same reason Jowan was scratched as companion. No time to fully implement it.

Seriously, the definition of a Qunari is someone that adhere to the Qun, a philosophy. Race have nothing to do with it, an elf that accepted the Qun would be a full Qunari, no horns needed. Having said that, we really need a proper name for the horned humanoid race, any suggestions?

I found the idea of Sten on DAO being a odd hornless version fishy, are all those mercenaries we meet also that special? Lore change suggestion: Sten could simply be a member of a Human sub race absorbed into the Qun culture. That way he would be a proper Qunari, lack horns and still make sense.

Oh just read that here also are other players who have left Sten in Lothering, I thoght I would be one of just a few.

When I talked to him I only thaught: "Murderer of Innocent People. Okay, you have deserved well what is coming your way" and he also refuses to explain it, so I left him to die.

And I made that decision before I had known that he also actually is a party member.

Though I think that way even now, I guess in some time I have to make another playthrough, just so I have the experience of a "full" party squad playthrough.

I have to admit that I really enjoyed the new design for the Qunari, I wasn't sure how I felt about such a drastic retcon but the design works for them much better than the old one. Plus, I'm glad that Origins Sten still has a hornless appearance in lore. I found interacting with the Arishok to be fascinating. I liked him much more than Origins Sten. I didn't take Sten with me for my first two playthroughs because I thought he deserved to be torn apart by darkspawn but when I took hm with my for character number 3 I found him interesting.

With the interactions I had with Stern, I decided to use Sten when I needed to get his level up. He impressed me the wrong way. The new Qunari was somewhat different when talking to them.

It's just bad implimentation.

If you have to metagame to justify having a companion (Sten, Zevran, Morinth),  then it was done wrong.

qunari women never leave their home towns ..they are part of The Tamassrans ..just read on dragon age wiki even tho magic can be wielded by both genders so a qunari female mage is very possible

Female qunari companion next game, please!!! If she's a mage or something then she HAS to be a warrior, right? Even though women aren't supposed to be warriors in the Qun..
