Yeah. I'd like to see and recruit a female quanari warrior or rouge. And have her be a love interest for both male & female hawke. lol!

Retconning the Qunari was completely unnecessary. It's like saying a culture and its people can't be fascinating without some weird "edgy" malformation.

I too don't understand why a change in appearance was warranted. Either that, or there was just a failure to mention that Sten from DAO is not a true Qunari, rather one who converted to the Qun, or was born within the Qun to human (?) parents. Regardless, this is just one of the few differences within Dragon Age lore present in DA2 that kind of irks me.

i like the new Qunari, it gives them a mysterious edge, makes the world seem a little more unusual to harbor such beings. Also it adds to the Ogre thing and i think they look awesome LOL ^^

I think most of us here agreed that this is better overall. They are more interesting now more than ever.

I have grown to really like all of the new art styles for races OTHER than the darkspawn who look stupid.

Sten just looks like a doughy tall guy with grey skin. The Qunari now looks a lot more distinct. I think it would have bothered me more if they were the only re-do but with everyone getting a facelift I've grown to like their update.

I really dont like the elves update. I feel they should be taller than average humans. And they should some other uniqueness about them other body frame, ears and no facial hair. Say something like glowy eyes or something. Or maybe even wings or hind legs. I dunno.

The retcon was good. Besides, a lot of stories eventually resort to retcons. Look at Lord of the Rings.

Tolkien seemingly spent the vast majority of his writing time on retcons.  He completely overhauled his mythology multiple times over the years.  That's a big part of why a lot of the material was never released in his lifetime.  Of course, because it wasn't published, we just call those "drafts" or "revisions".  And that's really what a retcon is: it's just a revision made after a bunch of people were exposed ot the original.

I think the way Qunari look now is incredibly awesome. The Arishok, at first I thught he was a Demon, but then knowing he was a Qunari made it so much more awesome.

I so want to be a Mage Qunari FemHawke. Considering the conflict Qunari have with their mages, the story would be far more interesting than a "Templar vs. Mages" like in DA2.

A Female Qunari Blood Mage (with horns, cause they look awesome... her horns could look like Flemeth's Hair in DA2 but instead of hair, they'd be horns) completely customizable in the Character Creator, with potential to be the future Ariqun, flees the qun to avoid being punished or controlled like regular qunari mages, she is then hunted by qunari and templars alike, that is far more conflicting and interesting than the templar vs. mage conflict in DA2.

Then you have the fact that qunari are bigger and stronger than most humans, so if you create a qunari Warrior, he'd be a true beast of a warrior. If you create a Qunari mage, he/she would be bigger and stronger than human mages so he could fit the oh so popular Arcane Warrior, and would need to wear armor/magical armor because he's bigger than humans and robes are stupid, boring and ugly.
Basically it's like returning to being able to choose your race in Origins. This time including the newly awesome Qunari.
I want a sexy female Qunari main character! or an Arishok styled Male Qunari Main character for DA3.
Whatever the class, if he's male, then he has Arishok's horns and overall badass look.
If she's female, whatever the class, she has Horns like Flemeth's in DA2 and looks like a sexy demonic humanoid.
Then it would be up to you to choose hairstyle, skin color, eye color, and create the overall face appearance, just like in the Character Creators of DA:O, DA2 and ME series.

I WANT THIS OPTION IN DRAGON AGE 3!!

Yea, having a Qunari female LI is one of the things im looking for in DA3. Imo, it'd be the LI having the most interesting story wrt Qunari history.

I want a male qunari LI And I'd like to see the females too. I loved the redesign of the Qunari.
I've been crushing on them since Sten.

And I cried at the end of the whole Qunari Mage quest.....that last scene took me like half an hour to complete, just becuase I knew it was going to be bad, and I really didn't want it to be bad.

this would be very cool. They really need to have more race variety for main characters like in DA:O..
