So I'm going to import my lv 25 arcane warrior/blood mage into awakening. I've read that some DLC and promo items don't import properly, however their stats do carry across and become permanent.

So could someone give me a list of the best items to wear to get the best possible "permanent stats"?

Both renditions of Starfang will unfortunately be gone, but Wade's Dragon Bone armor will be retained. That's what my Arcane Mage uses, and you will have a sizable arsenal at your disposal that aren't that bad.

Topsider's Honor is just as good as Starfang & Reaper's Vestments is still worth keeping (even if you like armour for yourself)... note that 'Venture' is my AW/SS armour of choice.
