I say it'll probably be a female character that's, at the very least, as much of a LI as Sebastion; in order to balance everything out. A female Qunari would be epic though.

Shale was DLC and she wasn't a ghost to everyone. At least not as far as party banter was concerned.

What I meant was that it's too late to make a DLC character and have them interact properly with the party. So unless the second DLC character was already planned (like both Shale + Sebastian were) it would be another Zaaed + Kasumi situation.

Is it impossible to just patch in new banter?  I don't know much about computer tech so this is a serious question, not sarcasm.  I mean, if banter for future DLC chars were already in the game files, people would find out pretty easily...  If they could patch the game to include that, however... no more shallow companions!

It's definitely possible. But
I assume that by the time they start planning out a second DLC character it would come way too late to have the party member VA's record lines for them without bringing them all back in later.
