I doubt that I'm alone in wanting a new lead character in evey Dragon Age. More importantly, I'd like to see each game take place in a different region of the world. Think about it. In DA3 you're palying as a Tal'Vashoth, then in DA4 you play as a rookie Antivan Crow. Each experience would be radically differnt. Yes, Hawke or The Warden could make a cameo but I deeply want to see some new experiences that only a new character could provide and to visit that lands of Orlais and Seheron.

That's my fear. We'll have Hawke who's the Viscount of Kirkwall leaving the city tht he runs to head over to the Anderfels to becoem a Grey Warden. I don't want Hawke to become the ultimate Mary Sue. I'd rather hear the tales of various other heroes. Maybe a hero of the Qunari or an Orlesian bard.

I agree, OP. I would also like for the "main quest" for each game to involve different "goals". For example, DA:O was all about saving Ferelden from the Blight and DA2 seems to center around the Chantry vs Mages issue. I'd like to see a political themed DA and maybe a war between two countries type of game. Oh, maybe in DA 3, you could lead a rebellion in one country and become the new leader. Then, in DA 4, you play a soldier invading the new country and the protagonist of DA 3 is essentially a potential final boss for DA 4.

Meh, it would suck to have to wait years and years to see all of the Dragon Age World.  Be nice if BioWare just took there time and made an epic game that takes you through Ferelden, Antiva, Orlais, Par Vollen, etc.

This, except that I don't mind Hawke being Mary Sue, I just hate it when you spend the whole Bioware game becoming someone of power/fame/respect, and then the next game you're all like.. Well I'm going to go adventure in the swamp where they don't know I'm queen/important/awesome.

It's just such a lame way of writing off the importance and weight of the things you do. If they're going to do another game of Hawke, then it should stay around Kirkwall/neighboring region.. Where people still recognize your actions/title.

I want Bioware to do the nigh-impossible and have us use both our Wardens and our Hawkes simultaneously in DA3, complete with our crafted backgrounds, and with us selecting the dialog choices for both characters, SIMULTANEOUSLY.

If Bioware could pull off those variables and give us the ability to control what two separate characters say in convos at the same time, they'd be developer gods.
