Yeah, I don't like the idea of you playing Morrigan's child AT ALL. I would prefer if he became a villian and he was the main antagonist of one of the games instead of you playing him.

i don't think we'll play the warden again for 2 reasons:

1. at the start of DA3 he/she will be old as sin, and likely ready for the calling, if not dead or simply "lost"

2. At the end of awakenings the warden was so high level that few could even challenge him...he would breeze through a standard game with ease.

This thread is just like those people on the ME forums saying stuff like "Ooooh, lets have another game where the main character is a Batarian slaver and you go around slavin." or "ME4 can be where you are a quarian fighting in teh resistance.. john connah...cyberdyne..." and all that jazz. Hehe, well I just had a thought, what if Hawke dies in DA2? And the cliffhanger that everyone is talking about, might be that Morrigan`s child steps out of the mirror as a grown up male? That would surely make things interesting if it happened I think, specially if the entire world is on the brink of war.

It would be kinda cool if we had for example the war between Tevinter and the Qunaris and then as given the option to either play as Human/Elf/Dwarf(?) on the Tevinter side and fight for tdefeating the big Qunari threat or taking the role on the Qunari side and trying to gain more groun against tevinter? Then u could end up with like 4-5 "origins" each showing u how u either as human/elf/dwarf or maybe even a outcasted qunari who fights for some kind of revenge for being betrayed (Hurr Leliana Hurr) and one as a qunari (commander?) who fights for taking over the Tevintier?

Good idea, I like it. Athough if it happens, then I doubt there will be much dwarves to play, as the dwarven kingdoms are far away, and the elves will probably be there as slaves, so I guess you wont be able to play them, although if they make DA3 about the war between Tevinter Imperium and the Qunari realms, then I rather guess you will have two heroes to choose from, either as a person from Tevinter or a Qun of Qunari realms.
If you play a Qun, perhaps you`ll be Sten from Origins? They allready have him voiced and he did return if you didnt leave him at Lothering, if not him, then perhaps another Qun to play.
And perhaps Wynne and Shale will also be there. In my point of view, the Tevinter Imperium and the Qunari realms would be a good place to be in DA3.

 I want a complete return to DA:O.

Keep the art new art direction or make a new one entirely again, but I want the dialogue, customisation and gameplay back to how it was.

DAO was baldurs gate in 3D, so I loved it.

I also would very much like a DA game with that has more to do with the politics and a country vs country
type of theme.

If a developer would decide to make a rpg where the main story involves a war between nations that has as its core
reason natural resources or their lack thereof, like iron, coal, gold or even land i would buy it in a heart beat.

I am generally a rpg fan, fantasy or science fiction. Lately however i have started to get bored with saving the world
all the time or defeating an ancient evil.

I doubt a rpg with with the concept of realpolitik as its premise will ever be made.

DAII interests me, i like the idea of Hawke starting out as a refugee, not taking the moral high ground and fighting
for Ferelden till the last breath escapes him.

Anyway would definetly like a Dragon age game set in Orlais, the chevalliers sound alot like the feudal knights of our own past.

Yeah, kinda the reason that i put a (?) behind the dwarf  A new idea that came to my mind could be that it a three story thing  Either u play as a Qunari and try to conquer Tevinter or u play as a Human commander in the Tevinter army and try to defeat the qunari AND hold an elven, what do u say, revolution/uproar in place? OR u play as an little more talented elf which leads the elven slave trade into an uproar? But in the end it comes pretty clearly down to Qunari vs The citizens of Tevinter Humans and elf slaves. Or could the whole elven thing be to much? Maybe u can play as some1 from the denerim Alienage that got transported in the slave trade there during DA:O

Haha yeah, playing an elf could also be a possibility, specially if the elf comes from Ferelden. It would be a great story! Say that you come from Ferelden in the slave ships, you arrive Tevinter and becomes a slave, somehow you break free from the chains and starts a revolt, perhaps in the midst of a war between the qunari and the tevinter. That indeed would be great XD, lol now I really wish I worked for Bioware, then I could present this idea to them..although I guess they have something similiar planned anyway.

Really? I just played it, and I don't remember hearing "he" -- doesn't Morrigan call the child "the child"?

Or is it different if the baby's yours? My warden just pumped out her Alistair.

I thought it was don't take my word for it though because even though I played it for the 3rd time yesterday I forgot most of what morrigan said besides something about change and I told you not to follow me. Anyways the Old god baby won't appear as a protaganist because the dark ritual isn't canon. Altough in every playthrough I've played he is
