Real heroes fight against the feeling of love..but ultimately come to the understanding they can't be heroes without it..for without it..they have nothing to fight for.

*taps nose*

A hero always get the girl/guy, they just never stay with them through to the sequel =)

It's OK, I've always wanted to be the anti-hero.

DAO wouldnt have been half as fun without two of the romances

Sure the others were superfluous but 2 of them were essential for bringing about an emotional connection

What?! It's not enough that I have to risk my life to save people and puppies and kittens, and I'll probably die a horrible death and never see 30. All thisI have to forgo romantic love? *drops sword* I quit! Kirkwall can burn!

Okay, you can be the hero. Meanwhile, my femHawke will chill with her male harem. Anders and Fenris will be fanning her and/or feeding her grapes.

Tbh, it nearly always annoys me when romance gets in the way of a good action hero, I keep shouting in my mind "Oy!, the Fing world is coming to an end, put her down!!"; of course that's a slight exaggeration, but I do get irritated when romance enters a tense scene.

Are they holding out for a hero 'til the end of the night?
Has he gotta be strong?
Has he gotta be fast?
Has he gotta be fresh from the fight?
