You don't read much, do you? While not vital, romance only serves to enhance a story, granted the story's heroine doesn't have a corset and heaving bosom.
Psst, I think the OP was trolling.

The heroine does have a heaving bosom... Unless it's a male Hawke, well kinda.

If you disagree, you are no hero
I have this entire collection of heros throughout Western Civilization to counter your arguement. But to keep things simple I'll merely suggest you research Marty McFly through Odysseus.

It's late. I'm just throwing my opinion in all directions for little to no reason. I knew OP was getting his troll on.wulfsturm wrote...

Don't tell Hercules that he is not a hero.

Heracles and Hercules are the same person, you know that right? Heracle is a greek name, while Hercules is a Roman name, both refering to the hero of legend.
He also didn't really killed his wife, Megara, he just killed his children, it said Megara died later of a broken heart.
Ah anyway...im ranting.

PEGI/FSK 12 -> the hero gets the girl
PEGI/FSK 16 -> the villain gets the girl
PEGI/FSK 18 -> all get the girl
So i wouldn't say that 'real heroes don't romance'
