Ive just updated my graphics driver to v267.24, which claims to fix the problems with DX11 in the demo. While the black textures bugs are gone, my game is running incredibly slow, probably 10-15 fps. The demo runs very smoothly in DX9 mode though. Does the problem lies with the game itself or with my card?

Almost certainly it's the Demo, which is why there is no support in it for Dx11, no matching textures, etc.

as said in this topic social.bioware.com/forum/1/topic/294/index/6151799
''The PC demo has known performance and stability issues with DirectX 11. These have been fixed in the final game.''
i suggest you play the demo on dx9 and then when the game is released, to play the final game on dx11, shouldn't be a problem

This is still occurring in the release version of the game. I am using Nvidia GTX 570 and framerates drop below 10. This is certainly NOT fixed.

My GTX 460 works with the DX11 settings at maximum. No lags. Also installed ver 267.24

I have a 460gtx too. I am getting terrible fps with everything at max. Its only remotely playable (~20fps) at "High" graphics setting with DX11. Could it be my cpu bottlenecking the system? I am running a Q6600 quad core OC to 3.0GHz

Could DargaadKeep post your clock speed of ur 460gtx? Mine is at default

Facing problems with DA2 with my 460 as well. I am updating to 267.24 right now, and maybe I can run the game on very high. Right now it's High with the texture pac with very solid frame rate. But when I jump to very high it breaks to probably around 10 fps. I think this drop is too high, let's see if the update corrects it.

Also, I don't think the GTX 460 will be able to run it on very high with 16x anti-aliasing.

same problem here. GTX460 SLI and not more than 30 FPS...usually 22-25 FPS. Thats way too slow.

Is there a fix? Using latest betas from nvidia

U need the new Nvidia GeForce driver. It's a beta names "GeForce/ION Driver v267.24"

http://www.nvidia.de...-driver-de.html

I had the same problem before, but with this driver the game works with perfectly!
