ofcourse i wouldnt play it any other way i just hate how they dont have good hair styles for black people in the game though UGH!!! the only time ive ever seen bioware do a black person right was when they made jacob and that fool from KOTOR.

I don't think there is anything wrong with saying black. They are not really black, but neither are all white people really white, especially not in summer. Then they are either tanned or red.

Hawke will ever only exist in your head. So it's up to you really what he looks like. If you let a poster dictate his looks for you, ok, your choice.

Indeed. My original point, which is rapidly becoming null and void, was that there are no samurai, ninja, africa, or anything from planet earth in Thedas. What was this thread about again? I forget.

I actually call white folks European Americans, and most don't take it well. Yet it's fine to constantly bring up part of a minority's ancestry all the time as if it's the defining feature that makes us different from "Americans."

Also, BobSmith, my Hawke is gonna be whatever I want my Hawke to be. Posterboy Hawke will be Bioware's Hawke. The existence of Posterboy Hawke doesn't invalidate that my Hawke is mine.

It's because of that that I think the Mage character is the only one that fits.  Then that just becomes a bad joke considering you can be killed for misbehaving abusing your powers, you're locked away in a tower with the "taint" of magic on you, and you're feared for being different it.  Well at least you're accepted by everyone else (that's confined to the tower with you) around you for you.

Actually, modern historical scholars are pretty much agreed (as much as scholars in any field ever are) that it all started along the fertile crescent in the middle east.  

Not that it matters, but there you go.
