... Short?4. Silence
Requires: Level 12
Requires: Cleanse
Points required in Templar: 2
The templar surrounds a foe in negative energy, preventing the enemy from activating abilities for a short time.
Silence chance: 100%
Duration: 20s
Cost: 25 stamina
Cooldown: 45s
Type: Activated ability
Seems like Templars will be real anti-mages this time around. And 50% passive magic resistance? Wow, you'd have to be a fool to pass up on Templar.

Yeah, I'm going to have to agree with that assertion. I thought BioWare didn't want to trivialize enemy mages?ghostmessiah202 wrote...
Wow. Annullment = 50% magic resist? OP much lol. That plus the defender tree Aegis Of The Elements gives 50+40 = 90% spell resist.

Yeah, 20s is a long time, looks like it might put dampener on assassins too.
EDIT: Maybe picking up the Templar spec is gonna have heavy consequences with some of your squadmates, you might end up with no mages in your party.

call me crazy but reaver looks like an awesome tank specialization. templar does too, but i think reaver would be more fun.
As long as you don't use the self damaging abilities Reaver would make a good tank, you take damage your damage goes up. Plus Devour heals (once every 2 min sigh).

If only nature wasn't so cruel we could have man-babies together.

Templar spec looks like a soloer's must have.
That's what I had feared. Now we'll probably see Templars with 100% magic resistance become the new arcane warriors (there really should be a cap). I guess I'll just have to resist the temptation if I want a challenge.

Templar is great for S&S.
I agree. My S&S warrior will focus on the sword and shield, templar and defender trees first.
