Is there some confirmation that Mind Blast is your default starting spell? I know they gave it to you in the demo as a default, but I suspected that was due to being a demo and Bethany having Fireball to start. In origins you were saddled with Arcane Bolt at level 1, but at least they gave you 1 extra spell point to spend at creation. I guess what I'm trying to say is I don't like Mind Blast.

All classes have a free abiliity; Mage/Mindblast, Rogue/Miasmic flask, Warrior/Pommel strike. 

Point me to where that info comes from, it sounds too silly :P

As far as we know so far, that starting ability for each class isn't technically free, as you don't get any other talent points for level 1. Level 25 is either 25 point build including Mind Blast, or 24 point build excluding ("free").

Ok here is my build(again). I didnt list them in the order I'll get them because its boring, and tiring. I'll just end up following this build, and choose what makes sense to me.

25 point build.

Spirit: 5
Spirit Strike: 2
Virulent Walking Bomb: 3

Searing Fireball: 2
Firestorm

Primal: 4

Rock Armor
Chain Reaction: 2
Tempest

Arcane: 2

Mind Blast (Free) 
Arcane Shield
Crushing Prison

Blood Mage: +25 Health

Blood Magic: 7
Blood Magic(Sustained)
One Foot In: 2
Sacrifice
Paralyzing Hemorrhage: 2
Blood Slave

Force Mage: 125% Physical, and Elemental
force for spells

Force Mage: 4
Fist of the Maker
Telekinetic Blast: 2
Pull of the Abyss

With this build I sort of wanted to take advantage of the mages Aoe potential, and Pull of the Abyss.

My idea is pretty simple. Throw up all my sustains(for protection, and blood magic), use Pull of the Abyss to group the enemies together. Cast Virulent Walking Bomb on one of the enemies, and cast Blood slave on the person I used "VWB" on. While using "One foot in" if my health gets too low. If they get a little testy I'll just cast "Fist Of The Maker" on them to have them sit the **** down.

Oh You're right! I hadn't noticed! well I'll fit Stunning Blast somewhere there to get Cruhing Prison, making it a 23 points build.
And I had/have no plans on upgrading anything in Force Mage I just couldn't like the crowd control, I chose it because I hate Spirit Healer and I liked the 125% bonus of The Force.
What could possibly go wrong with an Elemental Blood Jedi Mage? lol :whistle:

Btw in the acutal demo Rogue's start off with evade not miasmic flask. Look at my edit.

I'd like to see the full tree for Sebastian, Merrill, and Anders... as well as Ferris

I also want to know why Carver didn't get "Survivor" and Bethany didn't get "Apostate" specialization trees.

It is less useful to use them without their own unique style.

Force Mage is looking like a good tree to invest five or so points into, specifically for upgraded Fist of the Maker.

Spirit Healer looks really, really powerful. I just hope the game won't be balanced around it.

Didn't like the Blood Mage playstyle in Origins and I doubt I'll like it now.

Yes, at least we do in the demo, I believe it was miasma flask for rogue and mind blast for mage, I can't remember what warrior starts out with though.

Oi, I don't know what your deal is, but I have been saying that I don't think the game will do what the demo did, get it through your head.

At level 7 you unlock a specialization point you can use if you've unlocked a spec to use it with.

Most likely, the specialization will come from companions, tomes, or scenes within the game.

I for one, think we learn Blood Magic from *spoiler*.

Arcane Warrior would have been gibbed anyway, considering all sustainables now take a % of your max mana instead of a flat amount.
