My Warden would definitely go with the Libertarian party but would also support Aequitarian ideals. While it is true that mages are dangerous (something made evidently obvious) they have as much right to a life as anyone else. The more they are discriminated against, the greater the self-fulfilling prophecy that they will indeed become dangerous just out of spite (like with Uldred who imo only launched his rebellion after having his voice rejected in the Battle of Ostagar). Mages should be a self-governing body that teaches its members the importance of morals and guidelines.
- Aequitarians - They are the dominant faction in Ferelden's Circle and promote a moderate and popular viewpoint that advocates a set of rules and guidelines for mages to live and operate by. They believe that all mages should help people and follow a set of ideals.
- Loyalists - They follow the Chantry's
word as it is written. Often called "Chantry apologists" for accepting
the Chantry/Templars ever present observation. They are allied with the
Aequitarians.- Lucrosians - They believe that mages and their talents should be used for monetary gains.
- Isolationists - Wish to separate themselves from Templars. Chantry and indeed civilization in order to practise magic without scrutiny. Possibly "on an island somewhere".
- Libertarians - They desire that the Circle will eventually
become an autonomous, self regulating order without Chantry involvement
at any level. They form the largest opposition to the
Aequitarian-Loyalist alliance- Formari - The Tranquil belong to this group and do all the enchanting and trading on behalf of the Circle
