Sort of on-topic but why stop at CD? With MP3's being the big thing nowadays, not everyone even uses CD's anymore. The only problem with MP3s is that there is no physical object to show off and tote around. I would love a Mass Effect Trilogy blue ray of the images/videos while the music plays in the background. Sort of like a grand-scale music video...just with lots of lots of songs. The blu-ray would create better visual quality and a significant improvement over CD audio.
Suggestion: Ultimate Mass Effect Trilogy Soundtrack Boxset

Why stop at CDs? Simple; CDs are an accepted and universal method of storing and allowing access to music data. They're still common, they're still around, and most people will have access to them - Just think about it logically; Everyone who can play a Mass Effect game will in some way have access to an electronic device that can play CDs, whether it's their console, PC, DVD player or a CD player/music system. A CD is going to be useful to more people than an MP3, especially when you consider that CDs can be ripped into CD-quality MP3s with no truly discernable loss with a minimum of effort.DaosX wrote...

A Blu-Ray release of this set would be, to be brutally honest, a massive waste. It cuts the appeal of the set instantly, is only guaranteed to be useful for PS3 fans of the ME franchise (As they're the only ME players with guaranteed access to a BR drive). The same sort of goes for an MP3 set; At the price we're talking, you're going to want to have something physical that you can use and show off. MP3s from stores are generally a sub-CD quality file (Although not massively so in most cases), and to date most of the content from this boxset is readily available on iTunes and Amazon, with only Galaxy and the ME1 DLC soundtracks being unavailable.

yeah, you are kind of limiting yourself with blu ray. it is still not as widespread as dvd, and really, cds are still widely used and accessible. (its nice to have that physical copy, and like shallow said, you can just as easily rip it to your computer and listen to it on the computer, mp3 player, whatnot)

Bumping this up, as another thread just gave me an idea.
How about if the boxset came with a scale replica rifle or model of the Normandy?
