There's another topic where a bioware guy says it will be available to download monday, though I don't think he mentioned the size. I just hope it's at least as good as the JBtexture pack on nexus now for dao (the first version of which came out within 3 weeks of DAOs launch) because there were a few textures in the demo even on high that were just... cringe worthy to look at.

I love JBTextures. I put them on my son's computer and now he loves playing DAO. It makes a huge difference in game play. You just want to look at the awesome art.

No such thing as a "finished" game. They all have some bugs or other that need fixing...just be grateful BW listened to the demand for a high res DaO pack and took it on board this time around. Again, for free

DId you read the "readme" file with the demo? Or any of the forum posts stating that DX11 did NOT work in the demo? Come on, people.
The texture pack has nothing to do with DX11 or DX9.

Not particularly, though, you deserve kudos for the l337 kiddie impression. It was rather cute.
Bugs, glitches and oversights are present within all games...console AND PC. To me, it's more important how these are addressed, rather than to **** and whine about them whilst blaming company x for all the problems in the world (that, and taking a holier than thou attitude towards those people that don't pretend its an atrocity of genocidal magnitude).
As I said before; instead of throwing crap around about what is and isn't on the disk, let's just enjoy the fact the content is coming in some form, and for free. Seems rather petty to do otherwise.

JBtextures were god awful.There was nothing hi-res about them, it was just him running the sharpen filter in photoshop.
