Hey i started a new game on my mass effect1-2 character and stopped playing. will alll the choices i made in my first run through of the game be erased or will the new stuff that i do just not count???

Yep, if you want the same choices you did on you´r first run you need to do it again or keep playing and try to play the game different this time.
