I finished Awakening, and watched the epilogue, but the final save I have is the autosave before the battle with Mother. Is this normal, or did the save bug?
(Golems did the same thing to me, but not Witch Hunt.)
No final Awakening save?

Standard. Not a bug.

Hmm if this is supposed to be protocol and is not listed as a bug, then how the hell are our choices from Awakening and Golems supposed to import into DA2 when we cannot slay the Mother and save afterwards? This is intriguingly weird.

Not really if you've read another member's reasoning which I find is reasonable enough an explanation.
Recall that in both battles there are no decisions to make afterwards (unlike Origins). Killing the Mother/Harvester is a formality as you have no choice but to do so.

However, when importing a game into DA2, it states that since Awakenings was not finished, all decisions made in the expansion will be extrapolated upon by the game itself.
This is a rather serious flaw.

If that's the case then it would be. Though I didn't have the benefit of hindsight when writing that (or this as I've yet to play DA2). That would mean BioWare messed up on the import thing, though it is still true that after the last autosaves there are no real decisions to make.

I sure hope that the PC version has the auto save after Awakening and Golems. Without these appropriate measures taken I have a feeling that those later playthroughs in DA2 will be rather sketchy. Perhaps it would be better not to even play DA2.

I just finished Awakening this morning on my Xbox 360 (disc-version of Awakening). No save after final boss. What was odd was that I killed the final boss, read all the epilogue screens, and then the final death scene replayed before the credits. I want to continue into the golem and witch hunt DLC but not without all my Awakening decisions carried over.

this same thing keeps puzzling me. should there be an auto-save at the end of awakening and GOA? there's an auto-save at the end of witch hunt, so, it should work the same for awakening and golems, right?
I've been thinking about this since I read a few comments about DA2 from players that killed the architect, but their decision was not taken into consideration as such in the "finding nathaniel" quest. I guess the lack of an auto-save at the end of the campaign caused this, but I can't be sure.
anyone else that played DA2 and had continuity issues compared to their awakening playthrough?

That last question is probably best asked on the DA2 boards if you can post there.
I'm getting the feeling this will turn into the Conrad Verner problem for DA2, in which we will never see a fix.
