I havn't tried a two handed guy yet (as in played one and built him the best I can) DW is simply monstrous though, Even on nightmare you can one shot most white named mobs with dw sweep and a decent str. Champion and Reaver seem to be the best specs as far as damage goes. Templar is near worthless, unless you don't have a mage or archer to take care of enemy mages.
kinda disspointed with warriors

I personally love my dual-wield reaver warrior. She kicks arse, running at about 55% of my parties damage with a 25% crit. rate. There is a talent that gives you stamina back for every kill, pretty helpful. Also managing your fatigue is important, my fatigue is running around 5% with dragonbone heavy armor. I believe having 25% fatigue would add about 5 stamina to an ability that costs 20 stamina.

Death Blow is definitely bugged and not working. Either that, or "a portion" means "1 point" which is indistinguishable from the normal rate of regeneration. Mass Rejuvenation is nice (*) but the fact that I depend on a mage for stamina regeneration is just icing on the cake of how unfair the stamina/mana mechanics are.
(*) And unlike the normal Rejuvenation and Leliana's Song of Valor, it actually has a noticeable effect -- are those two bugged like Death Blow, or is their regeneration bonus just tiny?

I too found the warrior class harder to play.
I chose a Dwarf Commoner Warrior and every battle seemed hard. Not sure if its to do with the stamina, id say not but it was hard. I went through countless potions and spent most of my time clicking on them to stop my heavily armoured warrior for being hacked to death. It was almost as if he was a sitting duck, a magnet for incoming blows.
And not just him, all warriors seem to attract the hits, its like baddies cannot miss them and the armour does not protect them enough to keep them alive.
I started my second game as a Rogue yesterday and the difference is amazing, my Rogue only has 2 normal daggers and leather armour and hes easily beating Bosses that my mighty dwarven warrior had trouble with. My current party has less warriors than my first game and i am finding it much much easier as a result.
Its almost like the warrior class is the weakest class of all and to boose my parties strength all i need to do is get rid of all the warriors and I'll have it very easy indeed.
I am playing on easy btw, not normal and not hard.
If your interested in seeing the warrior im talking about, here he is.

The armour is legion of the dead armour but did not seem to offer much protection when my character was hit.

The interesting part is that you can play the later game without a warrior and be alot more powerful than with one in the group. Just make a few hundred lyrium potions and spam cc and nukes all day. Its really that easy.

I loved playing as a warrior and I thought he was super strong, I just had wynne using rejuvenation and mass rejuvenation all the time and I had plenty of stamina, using blood dragon plate I could take tons of damage and dish out lots, ive played a good bit as a mage and as a rogue but warriors seem just as strong honestly

Warriors are really weak. They don't do a lot of damage, and have to spread their attributes more than other classes. You don't have a lot of talent points to spare, so you can only basically get 4/4 in Champion and then all the DW build.
Warrior does about half the damage as a Rogue once you consider all the backstab damage you can pile on top of the regular DW damage. Even with all of that armor, you don't have as much survival as an Arcane Warrior or a Rogue who is maxed out in Stealth.
The biggest problems with Warriors are they can't fit many talents into their builds, have to spread their attributes too thin, have really bad stamina management even with high willpower and really suck at fighting bosses due to stuns and knockdowns.

Did you forget to spend your mages talent points?
