However, I'd try adding in a country/location so you could get a more specific answer. To me it seems like it would only ship at most 2 days before, if it's going to arrive at your door/mailbox. I wouldn't be worried.

They always ship 1-2 days before the game is released.

It always reaches me on release day.

They ship the day before. I don't know how they do it, but they've never been late for me.

Don't worry about it, unless you're in canada or some other country perhaps?

It's almost always overnight. I'll never get another game from Gamestop since Amazon.com ends up being cheaper and they credit you if the game drops in price.

I'll repeat what I said in an earlier thread....

i've been pre-ordering from amazon for about two years now. The pre-orders that I have used release day shipping for usually do not actually ship till the day before release. If it is a Tuesday release I won't receive a tracking number till Monday. It seems that they use one day or overnight shipping (or something like it) for release day shipping. Don't be surprised that your credit card isn't charged until Sunday or Monday. That seems to be perfectly normal for amazon. I ordered mine from them and I'm not worried yet.

Yeah they usually ship the day before it's out, Amazon is really good at making sure you receive it on release date.

They've got distribution centers around the country which makes it easier for them to get items where they need to be.

They also seem to be willing to take it in the rear on shipping costs... all those overnight fees sure have to rack up to more than the $.99 they charge.

When I ordered from Amazon for Mass Effect 2, they shipped it the day before the game launched. Based off of that, they'll probably send it out on Monday (unless you're somewhere that's really remote)

Amazon has never let me down with Release Date shipping. They usually ship the Monday before release and overnight it. No need to worry.

Same boat as a bunch of the above posters. Release day shipping, hasn't shipped yet.

I've never had any problems with their release day shipping. I'd expect it to change order status Monday afternoon or evening.

When I first went to preorder the game, they weren't offering it.

What platform is your preorder for, and do you live in the States?

I always by from Amazon and it has been my experience that it never shows it has shipped until after it arrives at your door ;-). This is only for release date games though.

You will get your game on time, I have always gotten mine. I know the panic feeling your having, I had it the first couple times, but Amazon is great.

Like, RIFT came out, I ordered the CE, I didn't get the shipping notice on the webpage until today... but the game arrived on release day morning.

You guys are the second batch that didn't get offered Release Date Shipping. I would call them to see if they can do anything for you. I was told though e-mail about it and there was no further action to be done on my end. They actually just updated my order with Release Date Shipping on their own.

I hope you guys get it worked out.

Edit: Same thing Quenta said. I ordered RIFT (Collector's) as well and had it day it came out.

I actually didn't get the release day shipping option either and I pre-ordered in December.  I'm just dealing with it and getting free shipping instead.  I'm sure I can put the extra week to good use elsewhere.
