Hi folks

Do you live here in Edmonton or are willing to drive across the frozen tundra and brave polar bears to get here? If so, you can join us for the midnight launch of Dragon Age 2!

We are going to be at the EB Games at Southgate Mall for the midnight launch of DA2. The doors to the mall will open at 11pm to allow people to wait indoors (where it is warmer and relatively polar bear free). The BioWare Community team will be there. Members of the DA2 team will be there (Mike Laidlaw told me after today's chat he'd be showing up) and are willing to sign copies. We'll be chatting and answering questions as we wait for the game to go on sale.

We'll have food, prizes if you come in DA costume, tons of fun and, of course, the midnight launch of Dragon Age 2. Limited copies will be available at the store, so get there early and get in line.

We hope to see you at the EB Games in Southgate Mall Monday Night. :)

I will! Also, are the chances of winning prizes dependent on the number of polar bears we fight?

As I live in Texas, and have to go to school that week, I can't.

But I'll fight polar bears.

Only 34 hrs away if there's no traffic or pit stops. I can probably make it in time if I leave now.

SEE YOU THERE GUYS.

Only temporary setbacks!

Step-by-step solution:
A) Burn down school.
B) Stop living in Maryland.
C) "Borrow" parents car.
D) A few hours on the freeway will teach you more than enough.

Those polar bears must be pretty brave if they're letting me drive across them.

Since that is where I have my game preordered I may just show up. Which doors in particular will be open?

Just click on the Edmonton icon on your over land map.  Though you may have to gather your party before you venture forth.  Sheesh you people....

As a Canadian I'm offended by the opening post.

....Wait... not offended.... what's the word? Jealous! Why can't I live in Edmonton?

Pfft. I bet we won't even get a midnight launch where I live.

If I left now I would be able to make it. Maybe.

On a bit more notice I might have taken the next week off classes, but I can't be bothered hopping in the car this second. Cheers to all of you that go though, have a good time.
