Damn it.

I'd go if I could, but I'm boned if I tried. Lack of funds, long travel, etc etc.

DAMN IT.

Hi folks

Do you live here in Edmonton or are willing to drive across the frozen tundra and brave polar bears to get here? If so, you can join us for the midnight launch of Dragon Age 2!

We are going to be at the EB Games at Southgate Mall for the midnight launch of DA2. The doors to the mall will open at 11pm to allow people to wait indoors (where it is warmer and relatively polar bear free). The BioWare Community team will be there. Members of the DA2 team will be there (Mike Laidlaw told me after today's chat he'd be showing up) and are willing to sign copies. We'll be chatting and answering questions as we wait for the game to go on sale.

We'll have food, prizes if you come in DA costume, tons of fun and, of course, the midnight launch of Dragon Age 2. Limited copies will be available at the store, so get there early and get in line.

We hope to see you at the EB Games in Southgate Mall Monday Night. :)

I Cant be there in physical sense but i shall be there in spirit causing mayhem to your midnight party

That's perfect. Seeing as the game is released 3 days later in europe you can totally make it to Sweden in time for a midnight release here as well.

Right?

Hmmm, no money for a plane ticket.
Ah well, I'll just walk there! It's only about 7000km to Edmonton after all, and I'm *dedicated*. What's gonna stop me anyway? Some ocean? The fact I'll die of exhaustion? Polar bears? Pfft, nothing but minor inconveniences those.

Or maybe I could just sell one of those organs I don't really need to get funds for a plane ticket.

Y'all should just come down to Florida and launch here. It's much warmer and has beaches. Image IPB

Yeah, not driving to Canada. Did that once without my passport and almost couldn't get back in the States. Have fun, though! Image IPB

I SOOO want to do this. It would involve a 2378.5 mile trip that mapquest estimates would take 38 hours 44 minutes. And I would do it too...

Except that I don't dare take the time off work. And my passport is expired. And I'm afraid of polar bears.

Lol. And I just left Edmonton last Thursday. Then again I was in Quebec for 2 months prior, I don't think Canada wanted me anymore at that point.

It's only an 18 hour drive. I'm sure I can make it and--

...Oh, uhh...nevermind. I forgot that I had that...eh...thing, yeah. Yes, that will do. I won't be able to attend because of a... thing I have to do. Er...h-have a good time.

(Do polar bears fear fire?)
