I live in Grants Pass, Oregon.. 1,229 miles. If I had the means I might just show up, since I have a friend who lives there and I know she'd let me stay a few nights). Alas, I'm pretty much broke at the moment (yet I'm spending money on video games).

If I was actually willing to purchase the plane ticket to fly there all the way from from England, there is a chance that I could realistically make it there in time.

P.S. I am reasonably sure that polar bears do not fear fire. But the ice under their feet sure as hell does.
