This might not be the right forum, but I'd like to second what the grumpy strumpet says about a NWN2 CEP. I try to keep custom content down to minimum in my mods because I want to keep everything simple for the end user, and to cut down on bugs from complex installations (2DA conflicts and whatnot).
If there were a single download that I could reasonable expect every player to have, then I could incorporate it into my modules without a second thought. The ADL might resolve most of these issues, but it still leaves me having to make a choice about every piece of custom content; "Is this worth the potential hassle?" So I end up not using custom content unless it's absolutely necessary. For example, I absolutely had to use Escrimator's handaxes, for the tomahawk, but I left out his club and scimitar pack because they were only marginally useful. I'd rather have all the weapons available in a single hak, one that everyone downloads as a normal part of their installation.
Seconded with a feathered hat on
I the same way I use little custom content for the same reasons.
NWN1 has one why can't we.
As for the close date EE, I'm not so hot on reading stuff and taking it in from the screen. I probably misread someones post ... Still given my own project status I'm still thinking October.

To my mind, Pain's Monster Pack is already filling the role of a CEP to some extents, as far as creature models are concerned - the packaging of monsters is one thing, but here we have something where, because it's modular, an update only requires you to re-download a set of stuff, and new stuff can be added to new packages with only the 2das needing to be updated. If you're only using a few monsters, you only need to use one or two of the haks, and people only need to download one or two at once - if they play a lot of modules they will eventually accumulate them all, but while they can get the lot in one go, they needn't.
The ADL I need to read up on, I get the principle but I still haven't gotten around to sussing it out fully. From what I gather, though, it gives us a lot of power to do stuff without a lot of the hassle we had in NWN1.
Lugaid mentioned using Escrimator's Hand Axes in his module. Well, I just recently downloaded both, and with Escrimator's being an addition, not an override, I just stuck it in my override folder (somewhat ironic, I guess) without any worry about it messing up my other stuff, and would now be able to use it in other modules. I'd be able to do just the same if it were a hak pak. Personally, I don't see why having multiple such packs need be bad... it's just when you get numbering issues and so forth that things start to get messy.
Anway, not wanting to sidetrack the thread, is it worth putting the link to the blog somewhere more prominent? Perhaps in the first post, since at least it's easy to find? I've never really used Blogger before this but it is good for a "press release"-type thing and it'd be better if it were easy for people to find. :-)

Then maybe CC will actually be used. To this day there is still way more CC than actual adventures to play and considering I rarely notice more than 1 or 2 CC in use in a game (and in the pre 2008 era, none) I'd say its underused.
Make a hak everyone has and we can all use it and not have to nitpick "am I going to use this feature enough to include it" and new users wont have to install our own custom haks repeatedly and most importantly I wont have to ever touch 2das which I hate despise and am loath to even doing.

Anyway, like I say, this probably isn't the thread for such a discussion.

I've redone the layout. Tell me if this is easier to read. I disliked the other one, but it had a certain flavor I liked.

A NWN2 CEP is lovely, but this isn't particularly the thread to talk about it in(methinks). That said, if *anyone* wants to take it upon themselves to do it, I would be more than happy to provide the hak I am currently using.

Anyways, I think it looks good for the desired role and I'm glad to see the cool updates for it.

Nice work with those rooms and blocking the PCs from seeing them before opening the doors. They really should have implemented that from the infinity engines into NWN2.

Btw for those who had trouble seeing the parchment background of the team blog (or any background for that matter) its simply a matter of turning down the contrast of the background image, to the point where it is less loud and the variation is limited enough that it more or less appears as one shade of brightness, see my blog for effect.

Pretty much finishing up convos and journal entries.
The last I heard, we were planning to put everything together sometime in October. Maybe this could be like the 3 year anniversary of the community Halloween mod. That would be awesome.
Harumph!

Or even if you won't do that at least post your level and experience gain in your module, as we have to occupy other levels with our work when there is overlap. I think everyone here has seen the 2 spreadsheets from the forum if not message me for the sheet links.

What haks do I need to make it work? I have the main hak from chaos which had the hak and a 2da.hak butt half the stuff is missing if I use both in the module. But he also had links to xp1.hak and a second 2da.hak ... ?

You need all the haks and the 2da hak on top of them all.
2da
xp1
main
I believe that's the order, too.
As far as the project goes, I've been slow on a numerous updates(Shagret and this) due to personal things(getting a place with the GF).
