Let me make it simple for you. Mages are little girls. Now you don't have to waste time wondering about gender and can go straight to being a WARRIOR like every true hero is!

WHAT? Everyone knows that most heroes have magic!

No, everyone knows heros usually have some wussy sidekick that casts magic though.

And those sidekicks usually teach the hero magic, and then the hero uses magic to save himself and then teh worldzzzz!!!!

Archer Rogue ftw.

I can't get over how much I enjoyed it in the demo.:D

 I am too.

I usually start with a Male Warrior, like i did in DA:O.

But, after playing the demo I really can't decide.

I'm leaning towards rogue, because in orgins i played a Dual-wielding Warrior, and now i can't so i think i'll dual wield my rogue. LOCKPICK FTW!

Mages have massively improved in my eyes, and when you scrap probably the worst origin story of all, Mages are much more appealing this time round.

Thats what got me hooked on mages, but its those dman robes that I cant get over. I miss AW :crying:

The Mage Champ armor looks amazing though. I just wish I could get that off the bat and I think I could actually stick with mage for the whole game.

Yep. I usually go Warrior in most play throughs, but the Mage class is really calling out to me this time. To be honest, I'll have to decide when I get the game and create my character. Though I hope they have better light armor for Warriors this time around, after I went through the Scale and Chainmail armor in Origins, I had my character wear Chasind Robes cause there wasn't really anything that didn't look like crap (imo). Although I really did like the Chasind Robes, they made my Dual Wielder look like a BMF.

Can't.. pick.. I've played the demo like 9 times. I still can't decide. I hate playing any sort of magic character, but everything tells me, I should make a mage in this game =( If only they didn't take out Arcane Warrior, I wouldn't have a problem. I just wanna see if I can equip a 2h sword on my Mage, and I'll so make it. Even if Im not doing bad DPS, using a sword instead of a staff is much cooler. More woo woo, and less pew pew.

My suggestion: If you're well and truly on the fence, play the exaggerated prologue with each class to try them all out at late-game strength and see which one you like the hands-on feel of best.

Yeah but you can't really play as an OP SnW Warrior during the exaggerated part.

Im going woth a SS Warrior first only because of the sword and shield i got for preordering, they are cool because they level up with Hawke, and the secon playthrough will be a rouge because i love dualwielding and rouges are like Ezio Auditore who pwns. I wont do mage because my wife is a mage only player and i will just watch her play as one,

I can, Sephiroth was a warrior all day, yet he summoned a planet (times bigger than a meteor) fall towards the planet.

Correction: They are nowhere near as cool as Ezio! His robes are badass and hes got the hidden blades! Plus, hes got the cooler counter kills. IE sword to the neck, knee to the face = win!

I was until I finally accepted the fact that the only way I'm going to play with all of the companions I want and classes I want is to plan for 3 playthroughs. And since I know, by doing this, I will ultimately get to do everything I want, there's less pressure to decide carefully. I'm going for archer rogue, attack mage, and warrior templar on 3 separate playthroughs and using all of the companions except Varric and Merrill.

It has been a tough road but, I've been deadset on having my first playthrough be a 2H Warrior. I will stick to that at all costs.

Is it possible to play  sword-and-board in the exaggerated prologue?

Anyone who can shoot lightning at fools isn't a little girl in my opinion. Unless, you know, it's actually a little girl shooting lightning at fools...

Doesn't using magic make you ... a magician? Thor and Sephiroth aren't "just" Warriors...
