 Isn't it annoying? I don't pay much attention to graphics, but compared to other games, the graphics on DA2 aren't that good. What's annoying is that in the trailers the graphics look awesome, but in the actual game, it just looks sub par.

DAII looks better than what I've seen of Diablo III and Witcher 2, and Skyrim is a different genre.

The demo is an older build than the retail game.

You do realize thats a terrible example for the graphics. From the screenshots I've seen, the game looks amazing. I am looking forward to using full settings Directx11 high res graphics in Very high setting.

Also do not know why people are looking forward to the Witcher 2. The devs of TW2 have said that the game is gonna be shorter than TW1, which I did my first playthrough in under 25 hours full completion... and I was lost all the time. Its gonna be one short game.

Did you just name Diablo 3 for great graphics? lol art style maybe I could accept. It's practically an isometric hack  n slash there is tons of better ones for that alone

Think he meant sub-genre. DA2 is a tacitcal RPG, while Diablo 3 and Witcher 2 are action RPGs while Skyrim is a Open-world sandbox rpg.

I'm sure if I looked in-depth at the character models or the ground textures, I may notice a few flaws. But I'm finding myself more swept away by the art direction than insulted by 'a lack of technical prowess.'

I disagree with you on the Skyrim point. I, personally, think Dragon Age II is a far better looking game. Not saying that Skyrim is ugly. I just don't think it's nearly as gorgeous as DAII.
