I disagree with you on the Skyrim point. I, personally, think Dragon Age II is a far better looking game. Not saying that Skyrim is ugly. I just don't think it's nearly as gorgeous as DAII.

The demo looked better than most other modern games, I don't know why you're complaining.
Unless you have a sub par computer, then it wouldn't look too great.
But if you're playing on console or meet the recommended specs then I think your complaint is completely unfounded.

Obviously you are trolling, do you know that? why bother come to show your TW2 fanaticism in DA2 forum? I like TW2 as much as DA2, but I would go to TW2 forum if you I want to squee over it.

Sure Skyrim and Witcher 2 look a fair bit better than DA2 but.. it doesn't matter? I play for fun and I'll be enjoying all three if what's been released on the other two comes to fruition when they get released.

Crazy-ass RPG fans who disallow themselves the enjoyment of other games in the genre or even other genres for seemingly only for the sake of it confuse me.

Am I the only one turned off by how anime The Witcher looks? Geralt looks ridiculous, and what is wrong with that girl's eyes. I'd rather have a customizable character than a Twilight reject. I'm also not into hack n slashes. I dunno why people keep bringing up The Witcher, as if DA2 should copy every little thing about it. It does some things well, just like Final Fantasy, but it's a totally different game, just like Final Fantasy. DA2 has an art style that makes for some really beautiful screens, whereas I wouldn't wallpaper anything I've seen of The Witcher. Art doesn't have to be as detailed as possible to be good.

Totally agree ... thanks randName for saying this .. i was just gonig to post something similar .. i too like both games and think both look good in their own ways but have different art/graphics styles.

And what's wrong with Felfenix really .. Witcher is anime-like !!! .. really !!! .. i'm a big fan of anime and it looks nothing like anime style (even semi-realstic animes like Bersek and Blade of the Immortal)


Now back to how awesome DA2 looks like

The protagonist is the most off-putting thing about The Witcher. He's like if an anime and a bad vampire flick for tasteless teenagers had a kid. I'm not sure if I want to describe the girl's eyes as "Lady Gaga" or "Drawn on with MS Paint", though it's probably just a bad picture of her. The combat is something I'd expect from a console game. I found The Witcher very tacky and trashy, but then again there are people who mod their Wardens to have neon blue hair and think romances are the most appealing part of a game.

Well, the girl have absolutely stunning eyes and full sensual lips. Nose is a little bit big but that gives character and personality to her. She must be the hottest redhead I have ever seen. This is possible with modern computer graphics.

The Witcher is based on the novel and basically, witchers are mutant human who have different physical attributes. If you don't like the setting, it's fine. But don't state your opinion as a fact, I feel offended at what you just have said there.

Hmm, I would rather try find a forum what is not a dev forum. I could possibly have free objective talk there without all kind of freaky fanboys popping to breach and apologise all the time.

The dev forums I could save for tactics/builds/story/character analyse.

I have never been a fanboy of a game company or a game. I always try to maintain objective and critical thinking regarding games. And for anything else for that matter

There are so many things wrong with this post that i feel .. hmmm .. don't know the word for it .. no .. not shocked .. rather nauseated or something like that

Too poor !!! ... lols .. are you freaking kidding me .. look at the freaking screenshots i posted above .. yeah they might be from the PC version but they do look very impressive and the console versions are only few notches lower in quality than the PC .. what were you drinking while playing the demo

Also .. just becasue you were spamming hte buttons like a cluless kid it doesn't make the game bad .. it makes you a lousy player ... i used the pause function extensively .. set-up tactics for all team members .. used positionning to take advantage of my enemies weaknesses and exploit them .. etc etc .. fact is .. you simply suck at the game and will probably die in the first 5 mins if you play it onhard or higher diffuculties ... it is also obvious the demo isn't meant to be diffcult or challenging as not to send off new DA2 players frustrated at the diffculty .. the diffuclty of the final actual game and the diff-options will offer more than a handfull of challange.

And obviously nobody gives a damn that you canceled your order or not .. if you really did then it's your loss.

Thanks for your opinion. But you need to understand, I'm not you and you are not me. that's why people have a different opinion. and I was only drinking Coke Cola while I played this demo. so don't think it did something to my brain so I was unable to judge the demo properly.
 
But the graphics didn't appeal to me, neither did the game-play. so therefore I will spend my money on a game that appeals more to me than this does. remember I was a fan of the first game

People are far too spoiled these days. The graphics on all these games are fine , it all just seems like quibbling to me . Perhaps everyone should be sent back in time thirty years and forced to play Pong non stop for two weeks . You would soon see how lucky you are . (Pong was fun mind)

Don't give me that sh*t. People should not complain about graphics unless they totally su*k. Dragon Age 2 has good stylized look. People are just crying babies. Go play your broken witchers and stuff if you want realistic graphics.
