So I already told Isabela I loved her at the hanged man, then merril just now came into my house, I did it with her, and she blurted out she loved me, and my only choices were "come live with me" or "Its not time for that yet" or something, and you break the heart by doing that.. and during merril's companion quest with the cave in sundermount, on my way out she said to isabela "I'm glad you and hawke are in love"

so whats up? I re-loaded the autosave as I am trying to be slick about this and not mess up The finale choosing of isabela, if I tell merril to come live with me, will it break the romance I opted with isabela? (even though I know its not until ?next? main plot quest for me that I solidify the romance with isabela -- I don't want to mess that up, but don't mind fooling around.

i finish the game but i have romance with two and this generates a bug in the ending.

i broke the relation with isabella and start romance with merril but in the ending varric talk with casandra and say all friend disappear "only acompanion the champion isabella"

i read this is a bug and i question in the next patch fix this error?i have romance with merril but in the ending the bug change for isabella.

It is implied that Isabella did catch something (perhaps more than once) when she visits Anders at his clinic. LegendaryBlade is not being "dense."

As for the question at hand, I'd say Isabella. Merill was extremely irritating. And creepy looking.

I like Cute and adorable women. Hence why Aerie was always my favorite(yes I liked Aerie stfu)

So Merill, thankfully you can turn her away from the Mirror and blood magic. I was really getting worried that it was going to end tragically.

Isabela I haven't really romanced, maybe she get's better once you get into the romance but she kinda turns me off. Kind of like the beginning of Viconia's romance I don't like much but later on it is really good once you soften her.

i had female hawke get with merril but i enjoy this moment when i was playing anders was talking to merrill about hawke saying how you should move out or something. then she told him are u jealousy . cause hawke slept with isbela and i dont care. then ander saids this funny comment about isbela.

I don't think I'll even ever romance Isabela. Not that I don't like her, which is quite the contrary. I view her as like...a really cool friend, not somebody I'd pursue a relationship with. I might sleep with her on one of my playthroughs though, but thats about it.

Merrill was the one thing tht kept me from snapping my disc in half. She better be in Dragon Age 3. Isabela was only good for her party chatter and one-liners.

Personally, they both got on my nerves.

Isabella was selfish, belittling and back-stabbing, along with being arrogant and unrepentant. Kind of interesting, but not attractive whatsoever. I actually grew to really dislike her, once she started throwing her tantrums at the end of the game. Unfortunately, I had no rational answers to intermediate our disputes, such as "Let's just go kill your problem. We just got through killing a high dragon. Your little loan shark won't be a problem at all." She never learned, unfortunately. More problematic throughout events, her obsession with sex turned her into a cartoon character in her 2-dimensionality. Any time you mentioned anything vaguely sexual, like a 14 year old boy, her head would pop into the doorway. "SEX!?" Yes, Isabella. Sex. We get it. You like sex. Go away, now.

Merill was similar. I started out really liking her, for obvious reasons. She was cute, and said cute things. Then she said more cute things. Then, she kept saying them, even when the context did not warrant it. Eventually, it became artificial. It felt more like the writers were dropping "cuteness" into normal dialogue, in the same way sex was with Isabella. The dialogue for her didn't flow well in many parts, as a result. She, as well, became a characterization of herself. Topping that off was her shtick of "if you don't do as I say then I'll hate you forever." It was almost as bad as Anders. Eventually, I decided to give her whatever she wanted, let her make her own horrible mistake, then lecture her on her foolishness after the very obvious inevitably happened. It was so inevitable that she reacted to it before it even happened! Quite amazing, that. Even this left me feeling annoyed, because it made it clear that nothing I could ever say or do was going to change this outcome. She was determined to be a 2-dimensional fool, and that's what she got.

I was always partial to Morrigan in Origins.

The only female I liked was Aveline. She was an attractive, strong woman with integrity. The others not so much. Merril, god i am sick of the lame elf accents and her fish out of water routine was crap. Isabella just came across as a manipulative tramp. But hey everyone reacts differently to others.

Amazing: Bioware have made incest seem the least morally objectionable option! Wait, that's not actually an option is it?

I didn't particularly like any romance in DA2. For me, they're just too stereotypical. Though I think Merill is still one of the more interesting ones

Is the whole '12 year old' thing still going on? Honestly, just knock it off. It's ridiculous.

Besides, I'm willing to be that the people that say Merril looks to young won't have a problem watching a pronz involving some 18 year old girls that look as old as she.

That's what I didn't like about Isabela.
She seem way too willing and have an all around "experience" in that catagorey.
I mean, if someone would have romance her on PC version they're be afraid to catch a Trojan or something.
Hell, I fear for my PS3 to catch it.

 my main concern is that if i romance both isabela and merrill, it may affect or cause glitches when importing my character on the next dragon age...

i am aware i'm a little ahead of myself here.
