I see her as being childish in both looks and personality. You don't.
I have maple syrup and milk to drink, and thats just more important than this argument.
Let's agree to disagree

Children can have adult moments.
But- I get what your saying, that this is my interpretation of merril, but regardless. If someone likes girls to look and act underage, then they probably like underage girls.
Thats what i'm saying, thats my point.
But that's not a point, not even valid one. I get that's the impression you get from Merrill, I have no problem with that. But you now go on to say that if someone like girls to act underage then they probalby like girls that are underaged. That's equivalent to saying 1+1=2. Well of course if someone actually has that desire for a certain type of girl, then that would follow. But that doesn't follow with your Merrill meme and applying it to mean that everyone must like young tender skinny underage girls because you have this one focused perception regarding Merrill..
I now feel I had better run, else the thought police may come and get me.!

I can sum it up for you simply.
Merril acts, and looks underage(She has these qualities). Thus the people who find her attractive because of these things like underage girls.
I never said 'everyone must like
young tender skinny underage girls'.

I'm good at farting. But I prefer vodka.

So let me sum up your logic in a slightly different framework.
Some old TV shows are black and white.
Penguins are black and white.
Therefore some old TV shows are penguins.
Right?

You must understand not everyone is attracted to Merrill's "underage" qualities, and not everyone thinks she looks or behaves underaged either.
I am personally attracted to her selfless side, her courage to stand up against Hawke, her tragic story, and finally, her willingness to acknowledge her mistakes and change.
Is there any part of her that makes me think, "Wow she's so young and innocent, like a 14-year old! Mmmmm!"
I assure you, definitely not.

Acknowledge her mistakes and change?
Granted, depending on what dialogue choices you select - you get different results. I've had three playthroughs - I haven't seen this.

She admits you were right all along about fixing the mirror and blood magic being bad, then she smashes her mirror and gives up on blood magic.

In any case, Merrill doesn't seem underage. She looks like any number of fashion models, and acts like my friend's 24 year old girlfriend, and in fact all her friends.
...well, other than the naivete. Sometimes I think Merrill is putting us on, though. "Why is this called a brothal?"
