Merrill is ugly, And i'm not gay.

To me Isabella is very ugly and in the demo I didn't like her that much (Well I did like the cool knife throw). I don't care about their personalitys right now since nothing has really been showen about Merril so I'm basing off of looks and Merril wins by miles to me.ishmaeltheforsaken wrote...

Merrill good-looking? I totally agree. She's hot.Morning808 wrote...
Isabella sexy? HAHAHAHAHAHAHA good one!...Wait you were serious? My bad
Merril is way better looking
Isabela is so not.
I can't help but re-read your "I'm a pig" post in my head. Isabela's hotter, but I think Merrill's better-looking. Because even when it comes to appearance, it's not all about hotness, you know?
So if Merril ends up with a crap personality I guess I'll go with anders just for the laughs or if it feels to odd I'll just be alone.

This would be a good time to discuss the difference between hot, good-looking, and attractive, maybe?
I see Isabela as being more womanly and earthy. She's voluptuous, lusty, and exotic. I think the saying is, "She has a body that was made for the bedroom." I also like, "A blonde that would make a bishop kick in a stained-glass window." Of course, she's not blonde.
Merrill is slender, she has slightly alien features, and she's adorable. Merrill has a sort of freshness about her.

lol maybethe way Isabela is maybe you can she does hit on girls she said if i needed company later to go to her room to both male and female in demo lol i wouldn't put it past her. But merril on the other hand would most likely not like it.
Well, Dalish elves may or may not be prudes, but those city elves sure aren't. So, maybe Merrill really wouldn't bat an eyelash at whatever kinky things you are thinking of.

Yes, I agree with everything you've said. Especially about Isabela not being blonde. And then there's Aveline, whom I think is also very lovely, and doesn't deserve any of the "mannish" bullsh*t people toss her way

Or this is a bit like NWN2 (from Obsidian) and while they never made Neeshka into a romanceable character they planned to. & thus the 1 potential candidate, and the one that was almost one - were both romantically unattractive to me.
So of the companions only Aveline Vallen is of interest, and she ain't what we get. Would have loved a Jaheria like, hard to get romance with her, due to grief and sorrow, and light at the end of the tunnel.

We have Five sexy romance options in Dragon Age 2. Which one will you choose?
Fixed that for you.
Probebly Isabela on my first play through, but I'll have them all at one point or another.
LOL:P Thanx. But who's the fifth. There's Isabela, Merrill, Fenris, and Anders. Who else is there?
Sabastian is a 'chaste' romance.
This is news to me, so is he going to be like the Kelly option in ME 2?........Anyways, first play through ill probably go with Merrill

I feel sorry for people who can't see how all three of them are attractive. It's like talking with someone who loves cake but can't appreciate pie, ice cream, or pudding. I understand preferring one to the other but not only being able to enjoy one.

I also feel sorry for people who can't love all of life, but where do you draw the line?
Or for me most women that are seen in games are interestesting unless they go off into some extremes of behavior, for one extremely kind/good characters annoy me to no end; while frail meek women rarely are attractive to me. So outside Aerie like characters, or from what we have seen of Merrill most fall into my territory (in games) but then we have the other extreme of women who are too open, something I do admire, but find a bit dull sexually, as with Isabel.
And by drawing lines, you sometimes can appricate what you get more; this is unless you are overly critical, and at least here I'm not ~ and girls with a bit of bite, that remain a puzzle through out are what I am drawn to most; and I like to believe I appricate a lot more due to my unintrestest with soft, frail and kind women of the world, who I appricate, but still find boring.

I don't have any attraction for either. A bit of a bummer, since I've liked most of the romanceable girls from Bioware so far.
^This. But I'd rather have my femHawke go with Merrill. Isabela's just a little too sexual for my tastes. Well, who knows, I might end up liking Isabela far more than Merrill, but somehow I doubt it
