Yeah, My warden. Level 35 Champion/Rever/Spirit warrior/Beserker maxed out all of duel wielding,fighter talents and prestige classes (its possible if you buy all the books). Huge attack speed 900+hp and about 180dmg a round, also maxed survival or whatever so he knows where everyone is. When he hits the age where gray wardens have to go into the deep roads, goodbye blight.... that is if he ever gets out of the Eluvian.

Did you play Origins?? I spanked Flemeth's a55 -- on Nightmare even. Granted she's probably not really dead, but as far as the Warden is concerned he put Flemeth down; as far as Hawke is concerned he would've gotten squished. Another granted, the Warden was a mature character when he fought Flemeth. Any way you slice it, Flemeth does look pretty *HOT* in DA2, well, for a thousand year old abomination anyway.

As far as the OP's question...MY Warden, he's mine, I created him and Hawke is a pre-fab. An ME comparrison wont work here, we never had a choice about being Shepard, and If Bioware wanted us to "be" Hawke, then Hawke should've been in Origins instead of the Warden.

Hawke is certainly skilled but so is the Warden, the Warden also has extensive combat experience and proper training in whatever class he chooses.

So probably the Warden imo.

i just hit a boss ogre for over 4000 damage with twin fangs on my rogue.

i dont think even my arcane warrior could survive that hit.

so yeah, derp.


edit - if you are wondering how to hit that hard... maxxed mark of death + hex of torment + massive crit damage modifier = huge numbers.

uh Warden cause the Warden stopped a horde of hundreds of thousands of Darkspawn killed an Arch Demon and (in most cases) lived to tell about it. Hawke killed a bunch of Qunari, a couple blood mages, and an ungodly amount of slavers...but Hawke would look pretty getting his ass kicked ill give him that.

The archdemon is stronger than any being that you fight in Dragon Age 2.

my warden... Hawkes stand no chance...

first of all my warden fought in Deep Roads, at the forest, in the mountain, in the village thoroughout the land. He knows how to use his terrain... while Hawke stayed in one place and didn't do ****.

second, my warden is a dual wielding fade warrior, reaver and berserker who beat the crap out of Archdemon, High Dragon, broodmother and Architect... Hawke had a hard time killing a crazy old lady.... Warden wins, hands down.

The Warden would Use Hawke like a mop.Also you dont see Hawke a GreyWarden if he was strong he would be one but no he is weak.when The Warden went on his calling The Warden took a few hundred darkspawn with him.But Hawke is not who he is played out to be.
