That said my Warden wouldn't have too much trouble defeating Hawke, he might be able to hold his own for a little while but my Warden would still emerge victorious even if he sustains an injury or two (nothing serious though.)
The Warden has been through and seen things other people wouldn't believe, he's slayed hundreds and hundreds of Darkspawn, fought with powerful maleficar, abominations and other powerful beings, slayed the Archdemon, slayed the Mother, slayed two high dragons and a spectral dragon, braved the Deep Roads and the Fade many times and has fought so many other enemies along the way without faltering, he even played a big part in uniting all of Ferelden from civil war and defeated Loghain in a one on one duel. Hawke just doesn't have the experience the Warden has I reckon, at least not so far from what we've seen of him.
I still respect Hawke though, I bet he could beat Loghain in a one on one duel and if put into the Warden's shoes its possible he could have defeated the Archdemon...who knows.

*A Dalish Warden and the Champion cross paths*
Hawke: Warden.
Warden: Champion.
Hawke: I survived the Blight.
Warden: Actually, you escaped it. I on the other hand stayed and defeated it in record time, despite the civil war.
Hawke: I saved Kirkwall.
Warden: So did I. I also saved Fereldan and the rest of the world.
Hawke: I killed hundreds of darkspawn.
Warden: I killed thousands. It should be noted that you never faced any genlocks, shrieks, armored ogres and thinking disciples. Should I really describe what a Broodmother looks like?
Hawke: I single-handedly defeated the Arishok and a crazy Knight-Commander.
Warden: And I single-handedly defeated Loghain, the Mother, the Architect and the frickin Archdemon.
Hawke: I killed a few golems.
Warden: I killed dozens. One of them was about 50 feet tall and made of steel.
Hawke: I participated in a suicidal Deep Roads expedition and uncovered an ancient thaig and lots of treasures.
Warden: As a Grey Warden, I’ve traveled into the Deep Roads far more that you can imagine. Do you really want to know how many secrets, thaigs and treasures I’ve uncovered? Should I also mention that I found the Anvil of the Void?
Hawke: I killed a High Dragon!
Warden: And? I killed four.
Hawke: Well… I… I nailed this one very hot chick.
Warden: Let me guess... her name is Isabela? You and most of Thedas slept with her. So maybe you should be more impressed with people who didn’t sleep with her. Just sayin.
Hawke: I rose to power and became a very influential figure in the world!
Warden: So did I, and I’m an elf. For all the things you’ve accomplished, it took you around 7 years. Everything I accomplished took me less than 2 years.
Hawke: I caused a WORLD WAR!
Warden: I fought for peace. And I also heard that you were nothing but a bystander of wha…
Hawke: I RESCUED FLEMETH FROM YOU AND I SLAUGHTERED YOUR ENTIRE CLAN! Oh, later I even killed a friend of yours who had deep romantic feelings for you when you were young!
Warden: D': MOTHERF@#$%R!

Prince Cousland being a Sword and Shield Warrior who can pretty much annihilate anything and take ridiculous amounts of damage, he'd have to get in close to do anything to Aurora.
On the other hand, Aurora Hawke is an Archer Rogue who's faster and can hit him from afar but can't take nearly as much damage as he can. She'd have to stay back and run away from him.
If this fight were to take place, I'd see Prince Cousland winning. He wouldn't kill her(since both are the heroes of the story) but he WOULD win the fight. Likely outsmarting her by trapping her with her back against a wall, forcing her to use her daggers up close in which case he'd wreck her up.
If anything, they'd likely team together to take down whatever is the next big bad evil and whatever that is wouldn't stand a chance against them, especially with their friends and squadmates backing them up.
Prince Cousland with Morrigan, Alistair, and Leliana along with the team of Aurora Hawke, Varric, Isabella, and Bethany Hawke would annihilate anything in their way.

i think the warden would win because he becomes level 20 in 2 years and hawke becomes level 20 after 10 years
Actually, the events of DAO(as far as I'm aware) didn't take anywhere close to 2 years to occur.
A year at most, most likely less.

Did Hawke kill an Archdemon and a Crazy broodmother? Nope. xD
Could he have, if offered the same oportunity? Probably. He's got "Main Character" powers after all.

1) Lvl 35 Mage Hawke(Force/Blood). 2 words mana clash whatever is left loses due to crushing prison and Storm of the Century.
2)Lvl 35 Rogue Hawke: Maybe one good back stab or caught in paralysis glyph either way the Warden shrugs off damage, death comes from dragon bone sword or SoC.
3)Lvl 35 Warrior: Again, Petrify, Cone of Cold and 3 different paralysis spells, plus Warden's ability to absorb damage means the Warrior Hawke loses.

- What is that hanging from your belt?
-Oh, that is a beard, the particular fight wasn't memorable, but he did have an awesome beard. I think he was named Sparrow, Woodpecker, something like that.

@Serpieri I think that the right term is "Mabarinality", or some kind of "Wardenality"...and really?it took 48 secs for her to beat hawke? You are very optimistic, I'd say 10-15 max. Really, the Warden is just a superior fighter in every single way...@Kileyan what about a stylish Hawke pelt? It might look good as a scarf, Hawkebeard scarf! Think about it..
The warden had a handicap - gave Hawke 30 seconds.
