I don't know who'd win, but the loser will have to get naked, dance for the other, and then become her personal plaything... so they'd probably both want to lose.

And then slit her wrist and dance under the pale moonlight?

I like the way you think, Z.

Given that Hawke is more responsive to commands and dishes ridiculous amounts of damage (well above any Warden's HP) and his talents don't miss, I'd say Hawke in a split second. (given the same level for fairness' sake...)

:D

And now that I think about it, my warden would "win"... and by "win" I mean that she would totally cheat to lose that fight. :P

Let's consider it a tie, like Isabela would.

Hmmm... My warrior Hawke would probably end up in a trap my dalish rogue prepared. While Hawke is preoccupied with the trap, the warden would stab her in the back and leave "the shem that killed the keeper" to die.

I don't know much about the game mechanics but since the dexterity on my Warden is way higher than Hawke, she wouldn't even be able to begin swinging her greatsword before the Warden cut off her arms.

Poor Hawke... XD

At least with rogues, Hawke will start attack with a pointless sommersault, halfway through which s/he´ll be hit by Momentum Warden and knockdown locked to death.

Can´t compare mages and warriors yet.

And who thought no HP increase at level up was a good idea?

Look at the main kill record:
Warden: Archdeamon, harvester, 6 broodmothers including the mother), deomons, two high dragon(flemeth included), possibly the achitect and a vitteral, tyrn logain.
Hawke: vitteral, high dragon, deamons, harvestar and ogres, meredith.
Warden appears to be stronger

Probably my warden.I have designed him to be a tank who can stand up even against the strongest magician(one of his specialization is the templar). And even if my mage Hawke would start to use his blood magic,he can't handle my warden while he is in berserker mode .It would interesting, however, see a fight between the two protagonist of the trailers.

Hawke doesn't have to do anything. The Warden will be too busy in the Deep Roads hearing old gods and stuff.

Hawke ofcourse!

By the time the Warden manages to slowly strike, Hawke would already slash him/her a few times.

One killed some qunari and dallied about in the deep roads while the other stopped the fifth blight, and possibly survived the encounter with the archdemon.

It isn't even close.

Warden. Hero of Ferelden gave his life to save his king and country. I guess technically he isn't in a condition to fight anyone. However, since Hawke,DA II or anything DA II related never happened, I'd say Warden wins by the virtue of having once exsisted.

DA II was essentially a case of mass hysteria. it makes a borderline supernatural event of few million people having a nightmare of a very similar bad game all at once. I recon people who enjoy Lovecraft mythos have theories of whys and hows this came to be.

To be fair, both are pretty much dragon killers, but one simply has the taint to ensure the destruction of the archdemon's soul. My rogue Hawke would probably give my Warrior Cousland a hell of a fight, but my lightning shooting force mage Hawke would spank everyone.

My human, dual swords, warrior, who wields the powers of the divine, would take down any version of Hawke I could create.

That is, and always will be, my canon.

My Hawke would beat my Warden simply because I'm a console gamer so the combat system of DA2 works better on the xbox 360 than it does in Origins. lol.

Hawle didn't "change" anything lol.

I never had a problem with DAO's controls on console honestly.
