WHO is the hooded man in the back, in the cutscene, with the Broodmother? Did anyone find out-
I had always thought it was Duncan, because we never found his body, AND because the Darkspawn were taking living people underground.
Hmmmmmmmmmmm...

I've only ever noticed Disciples with The Mother. as for Duncan he's confirmed dead. and the only Darkspawn who ever took Wardens were those serving the Architect, NOT the ones working for The Mother and certainly not the ones serving the Arch Demon

Yea, are you talking the Broodmother from Origins, or the Mother from Awakening?
If from Origins, I'm thinking it's Hespeth . . . .but if you could give us a screenshot, we may be able to help more . . . .

Eh....what hooded man? Many of the Awakened Darkspawn wear hoods, so if it is the Mother we are talking about, it was probably one of her brood. Duncan is dead, and Dave gaider has confirmed as much.

Maybe you saw a statue's shadow? You don't mention what cutscene as there are more than one. I only recall seeing her own darkspawnies with her.
Plus Duncan is confirmed dead. This from Mr Gaider himself. I would imagine only cockroaches can survive without a head.

Are you referring to the Disciple who dotes on The Mother from Awakening?
Although most of the Disciples were indistinguishable from each other, I believe that was actually The Messenger, the darkspawn who comes to warn you about the attack on Vigil's Keep. I always figured he was working as a spy for The Architect, which is how the Architect always knew so much about the Mother's plans.

Crazy ? No.
The Mother, in awakening, the first cut scene. It shows the back of a hooded figure in a gray/blue color looking (maybe spying) on the Mother and her disciple, whom she's having a conversation with.
Who is this hooded figure, anyone? Its possible its the Messenger.
As far as Duncan being dead, since I never saw his body, and I knew that the DS were taking people alive underground... As far as him being "headless" as stated above I never saw it...
As well, I don't spend a lot of time on the boards so if Mr. Gaider stated that he was dead *(confirmed) I must have missed it.
I am pretty sure the Messenger, (whom helped my Warden save Amaranthine tonight) was wearing a blue/gray hood. Hence, I wrote this yesterday.
Thanks for all of the responses.
