There's actually a terrific study to be made here  about about alter-egos on the internet, and how obviously  non-believable they really are when  one compares them  to real life.

Do they change sizes? I've seen video of Merrill where it didn't even look like she had  breasts. Look at video of the party arbitration screen. She looks rather small all over, and nothing seems disproportunate

Yeah, it has it's sides when you look younger thou. Like youthful looks when others start looking aged. But it must also suck when people think you are a kid, when you infact aren't. *shrug*

I think they've definitely made Elves a lot cuter than they were in DA:O.
In DA:O, they just looked like underfed gremlins. Now, they really live up to the whole cute and small image.
