Why should we have to compare a video game character to "real people"? Merrill is as idealized as any model. I think it's perfectly reasonable to compare the two.

I don't really feel attracted to Merrill's looks. But she looks flawed and I kinda like that.
Imo, there should be more "flawed" people in video games. Not idealized models all around.
And I think Bioware has done good job with that.

Yuck, I dislike how this topic is now about being "tan."
I find Merril striking. To me beauty has more to do with your features falling into the golden ratio. Pleasing facial proportions and whatnot.

As for her being too young looking... Hopefully that is someone's opinion on her aesthetics. I see too many guys avoiding innocent or kind women because of the reason that they feel its "wrong" to be involved with someone like that. In which case, you should probably ask yourself the question are you going into this relationship for your own selfish reasons or something more mutually beneficial? If the answer is "I want to get in her pants." then you probably feel more like you're taking advantage of her and feel better about yourself (less guilty) if she was somewhat more mature/sexy. So yes, if your looking for someone to bang- Isabella's probably your gal. Otherwise, why not go into a mutually beneficial relationship with an innocent girl? I love how guys automatically think they're manipulating someone just because they're sleeping with them.

I dont know about Merrill. But I will agree that the elves I've seen from that video look really freakin weird. I'm actually surprised that Fenris doesnt look like that.

Well, you're free to have your opinions about pale skin I guess. But just remember that for every single compliment you've gotten about your mixed complexion, pale girls have gotten for their complexion. There is not some rule that being tan is better than being pale. There are preferences both ways, although the consensus is beginning to go in favor of "natural beauty" again. So things like fake tans and plastic surgery aren't as popular as they were 5-10 years ago.
