Care to explain your reasoning behind this number? I'd give 'em a 5. First, let's start as 0 because it's nicer to point out good qualities than bad. His hair style is fun, so I'd add a 2 for that. I like the hair color, so I'll add an extra 2. The pointy ears add a 1 simply because of the elf-factor. There's a + or - 2 based on how you feel about the lyrium tatoos and another +- 1 based on your opinion of people with big swords. I simply cancelled out the +or -'s and got 5. Also, my point system is completely arbitrary, but I had fun.

Hmmm... Actually Fenris is quite tan.  He may seem pale because he has a slightly tired look.

The    white hair of his, which screams: 'I've-been-a-corpse-for-3000-years'  might also have something to do with it.

Fenris reminds me of Kadaj from Advent Children. Though he's probably less crazy than Kadaj... probably...

Really? Kadaj has more of a rounder face. If anything Fenris reminds me more of Setzer in KH2. Thats stretching things. 

Hence why I said he merely reminds me of Kadaj and not, say, "they could be twins!"

A quick personal opinion on pale and not.

Someone that carries little armour/clothes and is out much looks weird if pale, while the opposite is true.

As such I would mind a pale Isabel (out on the sea, normally in something simple and comfortable), and I don't mind Merrill and her pale skin, esp. given her past.

Or fakery is worse than natural blemishes; thus high-heels on a fighter is always a big no no for me, same goes for big breasts on athletic characters.

It makes sense that Merrill is pale coz she's been living in the forest, under the wood's literal shadow, her whole life.
