just becouse someone plays video games does'nt make them ugly and just because someone is good looking does'nt mean they are so shallow as to not date someone if there not as attractive or play video games. dont tar everyone with the same brush just because of your experiances.

Completely irrelivent point. Looks have nothing to do with liking a video game, plenty of attractive poeple play video games but the fact is they are not real people they're game charecters specificly designed for you to think they are attractive and the question is who do you think looks the sexiest no which your being completely irrelivent again.

No the relevant point is the George Costanza like irony of everyone and their dog beamoning how such and such a character is totally ugly and the law of averages stating that we probably do not have such a volume of AWESOME looking people in any walk of life, video games or not to making such over the top judgements.

I have no issue with people saying. "I find 'insert name here' the sexiest. or I find chracter 1sexier than character 2.  The issue is people blasting any of the characters for certain attributes of their looks and talking as if they would totally be repulsed by such a person if they looked that way in real life.

lol, Toss your photo on line for 5,000 people to look at over a period of a year as with these computer generated images and I'm sure as many people would be cuting you down as cut down the pixels in this thread.  I would imagine that if 100 people cut your image to pieces and you were able to see what they look like you would probably shake your head, laugh and say.  "And they think I'm not sexy!?!?"

Quoted for truth.  Merill is cool, but Isabela is outright sexy.  As for the guys ... I think, playing a woman I'd rather romance Fenris, while playing a gay man I'd go for Anders.

Honestly the "default" Bethany is objectively the hottest character its a shame they had to go and ruin her by making her the PC's family. Going on the 4 options, i'll have to go with Isabella, yeah shes probably a little oversexed but at the end of the day i want my women to look like women not kids or anorexics

Not necessarily. Remember, that a good deal of what makes a person attractive is personality - and while appearance is important for first impressions, a strong self confidence and interesting personality can win out in the long term. Trust me, I have goofy looking friends who end up with sexy women all the fricking time, because they are charismatic. (hell, I'm average looking, but get attractive women hitting on me all the time because I have a magnetic charisma)

That said, I doubt I could get Isabela to date me, or Fenris ... but I'm pretty confident about the others.

Not necessarily. That is very much the exception to the rule.  Goofy looking people with hot sexy people.  Looks are usually the very 1st thing people see to base a 1st impression on.  Personality and charisma can certainly overcome the difference in perceived looks of people but that is assuming you get the opportunity to show that side of you.  In anycase people are often not that good at judge in how they themselves look.  Some missing the mark thinking they are better looking that what a group would evaluate them as being and some thinking of themselves as being less attractive than they really are.

Don't underestimate yourself, I'm sure you could care less if you tried.  Seriously, though, its just a fun little thing to speculate on - not something people need to (or do) take seriously.  

Beerfish: Yes, which is why I mentioned first impressions in my post - they can be very powerful. (and are why some very interesting people never get a chance in relationships)  But in the game these people are stuck with you, for whatever reason, so we can assume if you or I were in Hawke's possition that they'd have the time to look beyond the physical and see the more interesting person underneath.  (but, again, I know I'm average looking - I've asked opinions in the past, being a psych major this sort of thing intrigues me - yet I have a magnetic personality which attracts people too me quickly; interestingly it is rarely the type of people I'm actually attracted to myself ... as the type who tend to be drawn by a strong charisma right off the bat are also a little weak in personality themselves ... and I like strong women)
