I haven't played NWN2 in a while as it took me a number of attempts to get into it then when I FINALLY managed it I struggled big time with one of the fight sections and gave up yet again, and then I couldn't take my save game over to a new computer so I will have to start again when I want to give the game another shot. Anyway, given my obsession with Dragon Age: Origins and my anticipation for DAII I wanted to know if NWN2 includes romances? I don't remember seeing even the hint of one when I played but I think I was still quite early in the game so maybe I just hadn't got there yet?

If you don't get into it, you can try the expansions, or some of the community modules. There's a whole lot of them, and some are arguably better than the official ones.

Hmm maybe. I actually bought the base game because I wanted to try a particular mod based on a series of books I love and I felt I should try the base game first - I think I would have needed a particular expansion for the mod. The main problem I had was with moment as you can only walk in certain places and it's less obvious where than in many games. But I am really into RPGs again so who knows what will happen.
