Depending on your style of combat who will you want for companions  to be in your party?

I am going to be a rogue so it would be me  Anders Fenris and Sebastion vail.

Fairly certain the dog does not count towards your party limit... Got the impression that is what you meant, if not then just ignore me

Think I'll be going for Aveline, Varric/Sebastian and Merrill/Anders depending on what class I roll as Hawke.

I don't like Aveline, but shes the only tank. Makes me want to roll tank, so I wouldn't need her. Maybe I could get away without a tank on easy
Don't know about the rest - I tend to do a rotation and not stick to one set.

I pray that Fenris can tank, otherwise I'll have to take that role. Aveline Horse-Face will not be coming along.

Other than that, I'll likely go with Varric, Isabela and whichever mage proves to be more interesting.

It depends on what i end up playing, having a very hard time to decide. Normally i always go mage, but it is hard now.. I want a warrior that can tank, a rogue and a healer around at all times. And my love interest. So there arent too many possibilities. Given that i'd like to play a male with a female LI for my first run the options are even fewer. And then i really like varric too, so he is a given.

If i end up doing a warrior i will probably do S&S and bring varric, anders and merril (LI). If going mage i will probably do a SH/FM and bring varric, and aveline, and then possibly Isable, but maybe Merril instead..

Dual Weild Rogue

In DAO i always had Alistair and Morrigan in my party.
So, in DA2 i will have Varric, Isabela and Bethany. (yeap, 3 rogues and a mage.)
