They did the same thing in their Origins review on the console .

So Game Informer gave DA2 8.25 ,and they were probably VERY FORGIVING . Bioware has a couple of games in the bank to mess one up. Its probably an honest 7.25.

Agreed. If the game was consistently getting lower than 60% from each reviewer, then I would be worried. As it stands however, anything about a 70% is enough to warrant a look.

I couldn't agree with you more in regards to reviews. After all I played Fable 3 over at a buddy of mine's house and I didn't like it at all to be honest with you there. So can't figure how it got a 9.

I've pre-ordered and will be installing & playing the game when I get home about 6:30 am Tues. morning and I'll see what I think about 2. If the demo is any inclination of the game as a whole and what we've seen of the videos and such on it. I for one think it will be a great game.

FWIW, Game Informer gave Awakening a 7.75. The more important thing is that I think its the same reviewer, Joe Juba, reviewing DA2 as he also reviewed DAO and Awakening. So at least there is some consistency there for comparing scores.

Have you played the game yet? Or do you have Video Game ESP? Because giving out a score to a game you haven't played is.....absurd.

Yeah, like they were with DAO! It was honestly more like a 7.0 anyway.

Which magazine? The April one might have been sent out by now, I'm not sure. I have the Bulletstorm Battlefield 3 March one.

Fable 3 and FF13 had big notes on Xbox 360 and what was it sucks !

By cons, if the game has no minimum 7/10 or 17/20 for a game from Bioware, I have some doubts though lol

I actually trust game informer, and their review isn't bad, They gave DA:O a 8.00 so they thought it was "Better"

That's what I'd give it too.  8.5 for a first playthrough, but then it's all downhill from there after you play each origin (which is only 20 - 40 minutes).
