I'm still a tad unsure on what I'm going to do with attribute allocation, though. I think I read in one of the threads that you can get by investing only 1 point in the Magic attribute per level. So knowing this, would it be okay to do 1 Magic/1 Willpower/1 Cun or con, or should I go with 1 Magic/2 Willpower, and throw a point at Con every other level?

i would suggest 2 mag/1 will cuz you might get by with 1 mag, but you wont be the primary DPSer like you wantedChunkor wrote...
I was originally planning on doing a Force Mage/Spirit Healer combo, but then I read that in order to use SH spells, you need to have Healing Aura activated. In this mode, you can't use offensive spells. I plan on being the primary DPSer of my party, so this would be absolutely awful. I'm going with Force and Blood Mage now.

but doesn't Healing Aura have like........a 10s cooldown?
To me, that sounds like something you can switch on and off with such a low cooldown.......
So..........turn Healing Aura off, fire off offensive spells. When you need healing, turn Healing Aura on and use the SH spells to heal. Then turn HA off and start blasting away again.
at least, that's how I plan on doing it..........

This.
Also, very curious to see if Splatter and Walking Bomb stack. Hilarity ensues.

I'm just too damn lazy to do that!

Hm... I might just go with the more balanced 1 Mag/1 Will/1 Con route and have someone else be my DPSer.

With the more expansiveness of the specializations now, it may not be practical to invest heavily in more than one spec if you want any points left to invest in all of the other options available.
Mr. Thomas, for his Nightmare rogue, filled out his two specs and archery and dual-wield. So, heavily investing in fewer trees might actually be an intelligent way to play. So would generalizing more, but I guess it all depends on your style.

But spirit healer and blood mage seem to mesh better in their bonuses and their spells
Im not sure but we can still have blood magic (sustained) and spirit healer (sustained) on at the same time right?

Well with mages in Origins it seemed like the best approach was to generalize a bit, whereas with warriors and rogues you wanted to just max out your specific weapon tree and your warrior tree and your specs. I was hoping with the more generalized rogue/warrior talents they would become more like mages where you're encouraged to jump around, not the other way around.
I think it can go either way. I think in both of the livestreams, Mr. Laidlaw has said something like "If you want to specialize, you can be a specialist. If you want to drop a few points everywhere, you can be a generalist, too. It all depends on how you want to play."
So, I think I'm not going to be gimped if I want to pick up some talents all around, and the same is true if I completely fill out only a few trees.
